The Lodge was very comfortable, clean with all functioning amenities. The food was excellent and fresh. The airport pick up was a great bonus. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. I will recommend the Lodge to family and friends.

We were delighted with the free airport shuttle which met us on time and was very helpful. The room was very comfortable with a good standard of air conditioning. The pool was a lovely feature and we used it twice. The cost was good value for money. The breakfast was good.

Just once the staff were not there when we arrived for an earlier breakfast, but really we have no complaints.

The mahogany Lodge out at the beach side was absolutely fantastic and kudos to Helena and all the restaurants staff for making my trip enjoyable, easy fun and they guided me to different areas that I was unfamiliar with therefore, they really helped me a lot. This place is outstanding I will definitely be coming back.

Great hotel transfers and staff

Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Nice pool area for hotel guests only. Delicious, freshly cooked food in the Mahogany Lodge restaurant and a wonderful stay in all. Great location - quiet, close to embassies and just 10 or so mins Uber ride (traffic dependant) into central Accra, Nkrumah Memorial Park, museums, Arts Centre, Oxford St. etc. 5 min walk to Goethe Institute.

Annexe (rooms and bathrooms) a little rough around the edges in places and need some TLC. Restaurant service extremely slow (but food worth the wait.)

The staff were helpful and friendly. One of the staff William accompanied us to go shopping which was great. He was so knowledgeable and we spent a lovely few hours with him. Our rooms were nice with a super comfy bed. Housekeeping do a great job cleaning the rooms. Strong Wi-Fi throughout. The restaurant is really nice and we had lovely breakfasts, fresh fruit and cooked items and dinner including jolloff rice. Staff at reception are really helpful and accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to Mahogany Lodge as they do such a great job looking after their guests and providing a lovely stay with them.

If you ask receptionto book a taxi, please stress that you would like a car that is safe and roadworthy

Excellent choice at breakfast served by cheery staff. Good mix of local and international dishes on the a la carte dinner menu. I loved sitting out by the pool, but also working in the thoughtfully designed tables with power points and excellent wifi (much better than my subsequent 'business' hotel) in the shady garden area. My room in the annex had everything I needed, was very quiet and felt safe.

I might treat myself to one of the rooms with outside views next time

It’s situated in a quiet suburb but just off the main route near the airport. It was very comfortable with excellent aircon and good restaurant, although slow sometimes. Very nice little pool to cool off in. A great place for a short stay. relatively easy to get into the city as taxis often pass by or the hotel will call a cab or Uber.

At first there weren’t many smiles as the staff seemed too serious after our experience of the Upper East felicitations. however they soon started smiling and we ended up having a laugh with them. The building work next door started early…but then I don’t blame them as it did get rather hot!

Nothing disliked, the rooms require refurbishment.

The setting with the pool is absolutely beautiful

I was surprised that my room was actually across the road in a different building.
