Rooms were recently remodeled and u can tell..

I work in doing final cleans for recently remodeled or new builds and I noticed that no one did a final clean on the rooms being remodeled ( i.e. paint on mirrors, painters tape, drops of paint on floor etc).

Very clean smell when walking into the room! The room was generally updated and modern, and the location was great.

Mattress was not very comfortable, and the bed was very noisy.

The room had everything you need.

The service at the front desk was a little slow because there was only one person at the front desk. Breakfast was not included.

I liked the roll-in shower for people with disabilities. I have a very bad back so that was a plus. The staff was awesome, especially Giggie. It was also nice & quiet unlike the previous motel we were in. It's also conveniently located right near several restaurants & gas stations so you can easily walk to them & be back in no time. The heater/AC works insanely well. If you need to warm up or cool down it could take care of it in no time. There's also very adequate hot water. On-site laundry & vending machines were another plus. They appeared to be fairly new machines & were nice & clean. Nothing worse than a disgusting washer/dryer. There's also plenty of space for dogs to take walks & even a place out back where they can run around & play fetch. There was a surprise deposit, but you get it back after you check-out, so that's too big a deal. At least you know when you leave you have another $60-$100 in your pocket, so it's like money in the bank!(no interest though!) If for some reason I was ever back in that awful state of CA, this world definitely be my first pick for a motel. You really can't put a price on great customer service, especially in today's world.

The toilet was a little too small for me, and the bed unfortunately didn't end up being a queen size, but a full. Luckily though I don't really sleep in beds because of my back, but my kid enjoyed it. There were a few bugs, but considering it's El Centro it is what it is. I did see them spraying for them so they are at least attempting to do something about it unlike some of the other hotels/motels there. All-in-all it was the best place we stayed the entire time we were in CA.

Bed was comfortable. Shower was great! The fact that there was no charge for pets is a huge bonus! Microwave and fridge were a nice bonus. The last Motel 6 had neither.

The floor looked great when I walked in but…after cleaning up a water spill I realized the floor was filthy and hadn’t been cleaned in some time. No phone in the room if you needed to call the front desk. Also, no hair dryer!

Staff was nice. Room was clean. No bugs or roaches like some motels...

There was NO cold water. Shower was scolding hot. Pool was like a bath.
