Clean and comfortable room, nice bathroom with instant hot water and power shower. Nice central High Street location with public car park through walkway to the rear of the hotel. The staff were all very friendly and despite being busy on the Friday and Saturday nights bar service was quick

It could have been made clear on the website that they stopped serving food at (to me) the very early time of 8.00pm, whilst on Friday and Saturday it was 7.00pm due to Bingo and live music respectively. Fortunately there is a very good Italian restaurant 'Casa Cento' only a 5mins walk away

Excellent location, great little place with nice restaurants nearby, staff were lovely very friendly and helpful. Lovely old pub full of character. Live music great atmosphere. Room very clean. Parking very close by

Room basic but does what it say's on the tin! Very quirky - window in room 1 had the handle on the outside and very creaky floor but it is a very old building so not an issue. Lots of noise from the smoking area adjacent to the outer door leading to the rooms, but we had read previous reviews so was expecting it and the pub was really good when the band had finished making sure no stragglers kept guests awake. No breakfast provided but could go to another hotel nearby - but we had a very early start so no good for us.

Pleasant and easy check-in. Rooms were clean and basic - as expected for the price. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows supplied. There was plenty of teabags, coffee etc provided. Food quality and value was fine, and the beer was very good.

Our room was directly above the outdoor beer garden and we couldn't have the window open due to many people smoking in the area below, which was coming into the room. There was a fair bit of noise from the pub, which is fair enough. It stopped at 11pm sharp, so not too bad We were also woken at 7am with the delivery of beer barrels. Again, not unreasonable, but if you're needing an early night and/or a lie in, this is something to be aware of.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The room was very warm, which was appreciated when the weather was wet and cold. It was an adequate room for our stay of two nights. Tea and coffee making availability was welcome. It was good to hear the nearby church clock striking the time.

There was a fair amount of noise at times, especially deliveries to the pub, removal of recycling glass, some talking by people staying in adjacent rooms and outside. The extraction fan didn't work in the shower room. There were a few cobwebs in the shower room. One of the bedside lights wasn't working.

I had a comfortable and quiet room in the back behind the main pub secluded from Stony Stratford's High Street, which can get noisy in the evening. The revellers in the pub did not trouble me. I have stayed here several times before and would and no doubt will stay there again. Good location on Stony High Street. The frequent number 6 bus connects Stony with Central Milton Keynes until late in the evening. Parking nearby - long term off Silver Street - which I have always found safe. Recommended.

The real ale in the bar was not up to its usual standard, though drinkable. This did not bother me as the Old George is on Stony High Street which has several good pubs and restaurants. They used to do a fine breakfast but don't any more. Otherwise nothing. Wuold stay there again.

Really friendly staff- made to feel very welcome from the moment your entered the premises. My bedroom comprised a very comfortable bed with an adjoining shower/ toilet all furnished to s good standard. The room was situated behind the OLD GEORGE in a a quiet location - very peaceful. My room had been recently decorated so was in pristine condition.I recommend this establishment.

I gave the OLD GEORGE in Stoney Stratford full marks . I really liked staying there.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. The room was clean, very well appointed. The Old George has history, so while not modern you get the feel of staying in an old coaching inn. You do need to eat here as well if you get the chance. A great range of food at very reasonable prices.

My single room was above the courtyard where people staying there smoked, so with the window open I did get a bit of a whiff of smoke coming into the room. Don't let this put you off though.

Breakfast is no longer available since Covid. The hotel / pub is right on the High Street , close to amenities and restaurants. They do serve food during the day and usually have live music at weekends. Old coaching Inn full of atmosphere and welcoming.

Would be great if they served breakfast again although you can go to their sister hotel across the street and get a reduced price.

Beautiful, historic building with great character. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable with a nice, firm mattress. Area quietens down very quickly at around midnight. Can't really fault anything.

Breakfast in-house would have been nice, but it's not a big deal. I was hoping, given the age, that it'd be haunted, but sadly, I saw no ghosts.

The hotel is easy to find and in a good position. A lady at the bar sorts out your key & shows you to your room. The rooms are clean and a good size. The bed comfortable. Plenty of towels & toiletries. Clean bathroom & the shower worked well. Standard tea & coffee making facilities. When leaving hand keys in at the bar & go.

This place is as much a pub as it's a hotel. The rooms are above the bar and It's noisy. The two times I have stayed have been Saturday nights, the bar did not close until midnight and and it did not get quiet until 1am. you are not going to get to sleep early. I don't know what it would be like during the week.
