Great hospitality throughout stay, good private parking at rear, very clean and tidy, no awkward restrictions for coming or going or moving around within the property, all good usual room facilities, nice quiet location with perfect accessibility for my needs. Marvellous hot full English breakfast and coffee with great service in a comfortable dining room.
Slightly small sink in room, but usable and understood why. Needed to be resourceful to fill kettle, but a minor issue. No sink to wash hands after using toilet in shower room. Unable to freely elevate toilet seats at all times, seat loose in bathroom. Not easy to transport belongings up fairly steep narrow staircase, needed care but understood why access tight and only a small inconvenience anyway.

Great little place. The owners were a lovely couple and made us feel really welcome. The food was good especially the breakfast, although it would have been nice to have a dessert but it really wasn’t a problem. If you’re looking for 5 star luxury this isn’t the place for you but if you want a friendly, warm and comfortable quiet place who make you feel really welcome this is the place to stay. Our stay was short but I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend this place.

Had a very comfortable stay at the Three Horseshoes. The room was clean, well-equipped and was a decent size - little touches like bottled water and biscuits were a welcome addition too. The bathroom was also clean and spacious with a lovely, hot, shower. The breakfast was also freshly cooked and delicious. In all, we were very well looked after here and would certainly return.
Nothing really - it was a decent pub/hotel which offend good value for money.

Pub dating back to the 18th century with lots of character. Excellent value - £40 for a night stop with a nicely cooked full English breakfast. Limited evening menu (10 options) but adequate and tasty. Friendly and pleasant staff. The room was small, clean and tastefully decorated, with coffee, tea and a kettle provided. Car park to the rear of the pub.
Minor, but not deal breakers - very steep stairs, a handrail would be helpful. Two big steps up to the shower cubicle in the bathroom. A few areas looking a little tired.

Super friendly staff, lovely beer garden Good value with great breakfast Very clean room
Shared toilet which I hadn't realised when I booked, it important to double check as some rooms are en suite and others not. The toilet was also the wet room which was a little problematic when someone had showered just before I used the toilet. This is an old pub so I understand things a little quirky, the stairs up to the rooms is narrow with the steps steep and short.

Brilliant stay. Comfy room, well kept. No ensuite but bathroom and toilet just next door, both of which were immaculate. Breakfast was excellent. Made to order and nice and hot. Plenty of coffee, most important. Good ale which is a must. Staff really friendly and helpful. A gem of a place and good value for money. If I'm in the area I shall be staying again.
Not really a dislike. No food on Sunday evening, had to go elsewhere. Also stairs a bit steep. Not really suitable for those with mobility problems. As I say not complaining,it was fine but perhaps these should be mentioned on the booking website.

Room was perfect for me. I had tea facilities, comfortable bed and hotel host was friendly. The pub was the perfect country pub and the location was beautiful as was on the country and very quiet. I had food at the bar and the food was great, not too much and not too little. It was only a burger and chips but was cooked to perfection.
There was a challenging customer in the bar and stopped me from going down to the bar after food for a drink.

The breakfast was great nicely cooked, the room was comfortable with a nice view of the village, the staff were lovely extremely friendly, this is my second time I have stopped there me and a member of staff recognised each other from my last stay.
The shower on the edge of a tiled step and the bath under a low roof being 6ft tall and having 3 bulging discs in my back I found it difficult getting in the bath and I was worried about slipping stepping up to the shower, I tend to worry though as when in pain I wouldn't want to slip and fall.

The room (No. 9 Twin beds) was level entry from the street- the door from the street opens to a small hallway which serves two rooms 8 and 9. The beds were comfortable, thanks to a thick mattress topper on each. Everything was clean and fresh. The village is quiet so although there was the pavement and road directly outside our window at ground level, we were not bothered by noise. We originally parked in the car park at the back, but once we checked in, we found we could move the car and park off the road on the forecourt outside, really close to the room. The evening meal was inexpensive and well cooked, so perfectly fine. Breakfast, we opted for a cooked breakfast and this was good and included in the room price we paid. The staff we met were lovely, friendly and helpful. The bar /restaurant had a friendly vibe and we felt at ease.
Room 9 is long but relatively narrow so it was a bit tricky to walk around the end of each bed- there was only about 50cm from bedpost to wall/window. However I don't think the beds could have easily been placed in any other configuration in the room as this is a very old and quirky character building. I supppose the most difficult aspect were the 2 steep steps within the ensuite shower room to get to the loo and shower cubicle. Husband and I have slight mobility problems and ideally we each needed a grab rail to help negotiate these 2 steps, we were both tempted to lean on the wash basin for support (not a safe idea so didn't do this!). This very small wash basin in the ensuite is really only large enough for hand washing and didn't have a plug.

Such a reasonable price and great to have breakfast included. I thought i had left my charger at the hotel (I hadn't it was in my bag) and staff were very helpful looking and ringing me back to let me know they hadn't found it.
Didn't realise it was in quite a remote location but that's my fault for not checking and still worth the money!
