The staff are for sure the star or the property. From housekeeping, to reception and restaurant each and every single one of them. Hospitable, sweet and accommodating. The property offers a great price/quality deal. Massage therapists Midhun and the lady are fantastic and make it absolutely unnecessary to search for a massage outside. The restaurant staffs are great, the food is delicious and so fairly priced too! I slept like a rock. Mattress was great and the area so quiet. Loved the swimming pool too so relaxing while everyone is out exploring the area and you have it all to yourself.

The property could use a facelift but then of course prices would double so…

Loved the stunning location surrounded by palm trees. Very peaceful. Lovely pool and amazing staff, in particular Perumal who went above and beyond to help us with booking onward flights and trains etc. I would definitely return here. The food a la carte was excellent too.

It is 200 m to the nearest beach but we didn’t reach it as you had to cross a marsh to get there and we didn’t have the right footwear. Also the restaurant is a little outdated in terms of the building but the food is actually amazing! We did not have time for treatments which we regret.

Beautiful hotel by the beach with lovely pool area and spectacular gardens. Rooms are of a good size bed comfortable and well stocked tea coffee water etc. The housekeeping staff are fantastic my room was cleaned daily to a high standard and toiletries towels etc renewed.whilst the rooms are dated they are comfortable and clean. Restaurant staff were also excellent and very helpful, the range of food was good with something for everyone. The outdoor spaces are very well maintained by very hardworking staff and there are lots if birds and tree squirrels which are very cute. I do not usually use spa for massage but following recommendation Selvi provided a very professional service which helped my lower back pain. This hotel is good for couples families and solo travellers.

Would have liked bigger cups in both room and restaurant.

This has been one of the best experiences we've had in all of India! Amazing resort, clean room with spacious and functional showers. The pool is big and beautiful! The staff, from reception, to cleaning, to kitchen were all simply wonderful! The food was delicious, whether at the restaurant or in room service. Albie helped us find other accommodation for an extra night at another hotel when we were almost stranded without a place to stay. Thank you!

The place is in the fisher village close to the sea. Everything is good value and the food is delicious. The staff is very kind and helpfull. Also they care about cleanliness. The guests are a mix of Indians and Westerns.

The pool was very cloudy due to people swimming with casual clothes even if it mentioned clearly on the wall to not do so!

The property is a hidden gem. Staff were exceptional, with nothing a problem.. Very clean. Great pool. Restaurant offers a range of foods. Breakfast was very good offering variety. Excellent value for money. Will definitely be back.

It is a distance from Kovalam beach which is where many restaurants are situated and shopping but saying that, if you want a chilled holiday ABAD Harmonia is the place to stay.

Everything was in line the Abad high standards: the garden cottage was spacious and spotless, with powerful AC and ceiling fans, the manicured tropical gardens with hammocks, the delicious breakfast made to order and the à la carte dinners. The staff have a very good attitude and impeccable customer service. We will repeat the Abad experience :)

Nothing to dislike

We booked this hotel because we had good experience in other Abad hotels. Via Booking.com we didn’t receive answers or our questions. On arrival we saw the hotel was in another neighbourhood than expected. It is a local beach and the number of restaurants is limited. After visiting the lighthouse beach we were happy that we didn’t have a hotel at the lighthouse beach because of all the people who want you in their shop, restaurant or tuk tuk. We remarked more and more how we liked our cottage, the swimming pool, the open guests and all the very kind personnel. Especially the people in the restaurant. We also want to mention our very kind and good English speaking tuk tuk driver Midhun. He is very reliable and kind. Certainly let him show you around in Trivandrum, Kovalam and Poovar. He is so kind that we even chose him to drive us to the Trivandrum airport.

Near the hotel there are 2 churches. In the morning and the afternoon is a lot of singing. It didn’t bother us too much although sleeping late is a bit difficult.

The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating... I have very sensitive sleep, and they helped me change rooms several times until I found the perfect spot in the hotel that felt comfortable for me - as I stayed for 10 days. Very grateful for their kindness and understanding.

I would strongly nt recommend their spa ...the therapist were rude and it's unclean..they misbehaved with us ...they are inexperienced and it's utter waste of money so pls dnt use their spa facility at all ....hotel is good bt stay away frm spa ...zero rating fr tht
