the entire comfort of the hotel

The very poor facilities of charging my electric rental car ( not being a Tesla!). Most of the charging points were out of order and , of course, the remainder charging points were occupied by experiences users. For UNKNOWN HOTEL guests like me, you can drop dead for facilitating easily a charging point. It is a terrible facility with the consequence that I on the second day of my stay, I had to go back from Ridderkerk back to Schiphol Airport to CHANGE my electric car to a petrol driven car, otherwise I would have been in big charging trouble for my planned trip the next day for approx 220 km. This entire electric car shit is a big misery ! NEER EVER an electric car for visitors via Schiphol to Hotels !

The hotel had all the facilities needed for a business traveler. My room was very comfortable. You don't hear the noise of the nearby highroad at all. I tried the hotel restaurant once for lunch and that was very good and the food was not overpriced at all. The breakfast is excellent. Staff are friendly. I was attending a conference in Rotterdam Ahoy and the connection with the bus service was very convenient. Small but nice detail: the walking path with wild flowers leading to the hotel if you arrive by bus. Recommend for business travelers!

Some minor points: no water kettle to make a cup of tea in the room (there is a coffee machine but I don't drink coffee). The service in the hotel bar was very slow. I had indicated that I did not need to have my towels changed every day (that option was offered) but they did this change the towels nonetheless. If the hotel really wants to pay attention to a greener policy it should implement these policies rather than announcing them.

Just a great hotel chain delivering great quality breakfast selection and evening meal menu and great hotel staff who were on the button all the time with great support and follow-up raised issue very different from other Dutch. Nothing only wished we had booked you before our stay between 6-13 Jan at another local hotel which we could not cancel

It is a super nice hotel with modern, well-fitted rooms and clean. Good breakfast, and the staff was attentive and professional. The Outside temperature was around 30 cel. The air-conditioning was put in some "eco-mode", which could not be changed making cooling impossible. The ventilation just blowing hot air was so noisy that it had to switch off when sleeping.

The room was a good size with good facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with so much choice. The architecture of the building is unusual, a refreshing change from the usual concrete block

Room smelled like someone had been smoking. Every time I entered the room, and the bathroom. The last morning no yogurt at breakfast. Minibar only contained drinks some nuts or something like that would make it perfect.. TV Stations are very limited with many channels not showing anything. Couldn't put the Bar bill on my room, even though I made a CC guarantee. A waitress went to check and did not come back for about 10 minutes, in the end my colleague paid.....

Wide rooms good facilities and nice dinner at the restaurant.Free parking. We unfortunately had to leave with no time for breakfast.

I suggest to replace plastic glasses in the bathrooms with real glass glasses like in other Van der valk hotels, such as in the one in Wassenaar. Not elegant for a four star hotel to display plastic glasses in the bathroom these days, when customers are more aware about the planet.

Proffesional / friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant and bar has large offer. Good size of the double room and great size of the bathroom. Good location for business in/near the port or port service companies. Clean, good and comfortable business hotel. Easy access from highways, large and safe parking lot. Not my first stay, I trust nor my last stay anyway.

The fancy espresso coffee machine on the room looks great, but it was not possible - or - not clear and known how to make it work. Maybe it was broken...? Not a place to stay if you want discover downtown during your stay...to far...better to stay downtown and pay the Uber cost difference for the hotel price there. This place is great if you need island to crash for night or two on business.

The friendly staff, who spoke good English all the times and were ready to help, that was very nice. Also the breakfast was good, with a surprisingly vast variety of items in the buffet.

For that price we thought the rooms would be bit bigger, and when booking we didn't realise how close it is to the highway, so there won't be anything in the walking distance

The hotel is very big, beautifully decorated, the bedrooms are very big, the beds are one of the most comfortable one we have ever had, the bathroom has a bathtub and a separate shower, so very big too. The breakfast buffet is huge and delicious, and the restaurant food was excellent.
