This motel has so much potential and they are certainly putting in the effort to bring this classic up to polish. New bathroom renovation and Clean amenities the room provides everything you need for a very comfortable stay. More comfortable than my own bed at home... It's obvious they are in the process of updating and there are some tasks to do around the grounds however the pool was sparkling and a welcomed oasis after a hot long day travelling. Very well worth the affordable price point. I will stay there again easy.

Maybe a newer microwave but they probably have that on their list to get anyway as everything else was new.

Vicinity to highway. An extra floor towel would be helpful in the wet bathroom or a barrier between shower and basin area

The Receptionist was really nice & helpful. All staff were smiling and was saying hi. Bed was not too bad compare to other hotel. Room was spotless and been cleaned while away for the day. Shower is big and i think been renovated. Recommended.

Nothing. Walls a bit thin but that's it. Tv did not really work, lucky I had my laptop.

Fantastic location with great staff, a lovely pool to cool down in after a day's drive and a comfortable bed for a good night's sleep helped prepare us for a 1250km drive the following day. Highly recommend as a rest stop and I'd love to come back and explore the area more

The only minor negatives were the slight septic odour from the shower drain and no drinking water provided in room. Otherwise we really couldn't fault our stay.

The check-in and access to the property and room were super easy. Friendly greeting from staff. The bathroom was up to date and clean, as was the rest of the room. All convenient appliances were available - toaster microwave kettle hairdryer, and iron, and extra pillows as well. The table and chairs in the room was also handy. It looks like the rooms can be linked through a door - great for a family or groups.

The foyer and small reception area needs some visual updating - it has a lot of potential to charm guests on arrival, as the styling of the property is standout (hacienda style), but this is not a huge issue for most guests who want a nice comfortable short stay.

Convenient location close to town. Easy to locate and reception friendly and helpful. Able to park my car in front of room. There was available tea/coffee facilities as well as a microwave.

No issues with checking or checkout. Nothing i did not like.

The location was convenient and the beds were comfortable. It was a great overnight stop.

Unfortunately, there were some cleanliness concerns. Some of the towels were dirty (possibly stained rather than dirty) and 2 mugs were uncleaned from previous use before we arrived. This was so unfortunate as this was otherwise a perfect, well-priced overnight stay.

Clean and comfortable room with large and well appointed bathroom. Beds were comfy and the room has everything needed for overnight or few days stay.

Was a little surprised when we first drove in as to how unkept the outside/front of the premises looked like. To be honest it seemed abandoned. That said staff very friendly, pool was clean and ready to go, and the room itself belied its exterior appearance.

To sum up the Azalea motel in one word……….PERFECT…. A most enjoyable 3 night stay. The room had a very large comfortable bed, two lounge chairs to view a huge TV. Fully equipped with jug, toaster, hair dryer and even an iron. The beautiful bathroom came with a delicious rain shower. I booked with booking .com where there is a special requests tab. Being a scotch drinker I requested ice and Lisa the manager made sure there was adequate ice each evening. Another nice touch was a bucket of water and broom with a blade to wash all those nasties off the windscreen associated with country driving. A perfect stay that I can highly recommend.
