AMAZING place! If you are coming to visit Krabi stay here 100%. Super clean, well prepared, the swimming pool is big and you have space to chill or swim. The recepcionist was absolutely nice and kind, He helped us with ANYTHING we needed. You can even rent the different types of apartaments they have for a short/medium/long term (for a really good price). You have private parking and if you need to rent a motorbike to move around krabi you can rent it next to the hotel (30 seconds walking from the main entrance). 7/11 - 1 minute distance from the hotel. Ao nang beach a 10-15min walking (max), you can go to railey beach for example taking a long tail boat from the beach. A lot of different types of shops to buy some souvenirs, or clothes for you. Pubs and restaurants everywhere, but enough apart to dont be bother with the sound or the people. In general 10 out of 10.

Spacious, well equipped apartment, 10 min walk from the beach, close to restaurants and shops. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice swimming pool. Excellent value!

Our room had no view and was very close to the street so it was noisy. Also, noise could be heard from the other rooms. But, for the price we paid, we really can't complain...

The first 2-bed apartment we were given was tired with smelly drains and in need of refurbishment. There was an issue with our room so we only had one night there. We were moved to a really nice and huge modern 2-bed apartment with 2 bathrooms on the top floor, with a large balcony and a nice view, what a difference. This made our week perfect! Comfortable beds. The hotel is set back and away from the noisy bars, so it is quiet. Bars and restaurants are a short walk on the main street. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the beach. The staff in reception and at breakfast were so helpful and friendly. Food was really nice when we ate a few lunches here.

Agree with comments left by others that some more sunbeds are needed by the pool and umbrellas. Breakfast could have a bit more selection such as more fruit choices. The first 2 bed apartment we were given is definitely in need of reburbishment.

Liked - lap pool: Wasn't crowded while I was there. Could always get a seat by the pool. They cleaned it daily - Gym: pretty good size and decent set of weights with a bench, cable machine, mats, spin bike, treadmill and all in good condition - kitchen: one of the main reasons I chose this place since it gave a full size fridge, stove, microwave, kettle and things to cook with (pot, pan, saucepan, utensils etc) which I thought were pretty good for the price - Staff - all generally very nice from the cleaning staff, masseuse and reception, though one of the reception staff members did act visibly annoyed when I had to cancel the shuttle ride I booked with her earlier in the day. Their English wasn't the best which made things a little challenging. - location: easy to get to the beach (~10 min was) and a very touristy area which can be a good or bad thing depending on what you're looking for. Overall, it was a net positive for me as it was my first time and afforded easy access to convenience stores, grocery shops, souvenir shops and tour agencies

I remember reading about issues with smell and I can somewhat agree. The odor of sewage was somewhat present in the room but not overbearing at all. I feel as though other properties in the area may also have issues like this since it seems like plumbing / sewage overall isn't the best in Krabi.

This was our second visit to The Lai Thai in 12 months; the hotel never disappoints. We had a larger room than our previous visit, I would describe it as a one bedroom apartment! The staff are always efficient; there was an error with our digital safe, we reported it to reception and an engineer was out within minutes, no hassle. The pool and grounds are spotless. This time breakfast was included in our booking, this was lovely. If we return to Ao Nang again then we would not hesitate to stay at The Lai Thai.

This was such a fantastic property!! Great rooms. Huge and had everything you need eg table, fridge, freezer, microwave, plates etc. Air con was great. Balcony was huge and lovely. Bathroom was huge and very clean (and nice having a curtain between the shower and toilet!) Great value for money (received a discount through Booking.Com or it was 1000 TB booking in person). The pool was huge and amazing. It had a lap pool too so could exercise. And lots of seating space.

No sound proofing but that’s pretty standard. Also be aware that you need to put a slip in front of your door if you want your room cleaned. Wifi was on and off so had to log in and out sometimes.

The room was spacious with nice view from the balcony. They had a dining table and a mini kitchen with an oven, kettle and stove so we could cook some simple food like noodles on a lazy day. The beds were big and very comfortable. I slept like a baby. The location is also pretty good. There is a 7-Eleven right across the street and lots of restaurants and stores nearby.

Very minor things like the slippers were rather painful. I couldnt wear them for more than a few minutes. The lock on the sliding door of the bathroom wasn't working.

We were a group of 4 and stayed in 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms. It was very big, comfortable. Air conditioner in all the rooms. Location very good. 15 min to the beach.

Nicely presented 44 sq mt studio which felt comfortable and roomy. Good size balcony with a pleasant outlook toward the cliffs from the 3rd floor. Good range of equipment although a bit more cutlery, cups and glasses would have been nice. Large pool and Fitness room with modern equipment. Excellent central location just short walk from the beach.

Nothing to do with the hotel, but most of the local business are owned by South Asians and they nearly all have touts out on the main street pushing their shops and restaurants as you walk by.

Comfortable bed. Lovely big pool. Balcony v private . Close to bars and restaurants. 20 mins from beaches. Set away from street so no traffic noise. You could have breakfast and it was very generous. Free water supplied. There was a kettle too. Good sized fridge. Motorcycle taxis v close by. Would recommend the boat trip to Railey beach. Get a taxi to the cat fish farm for cheap afternoon out. Get a motorbike taxi to other end of beach near the Tsunami memorial as beaches are better. Fantastic restaurants and food bars nearby.
