La Mada is a hidden gem off the beaten track. They have a lot of beautiful nature surrounding the hotel, an oasis in Nairobi. The pool is beautiful and surrounded by gorgeous plants. They have extensive gardens. I loved staying here because I love nature and the outdoors so much. The staff are wonderful and kind. The beds are also comfortable.

The location is a little hidden, but it can be nice if you're trying to get away from the city. Sometimes small things like the doorknob turning or the toilet flushing don't work as well as they should, but the staff is wonderful, if you have an issue just ask for help, they are very quick and friendly to respond.

This place is a hidden gem in Nairobi. The location is so beautiful and well looked after, you can sit by the pool enjoy a drink whilst witnessing some beautiful wildlife with monkeys jumping around in the trees, the monkeys do stay away from guests which is great so you can enjoy meals outside. The staff could not be any more friendly and helpful, we had a fabulous time and would highly recommend. The hotel restaurant is amazing and serves freshly made food to a great standard. It really did exceed our expectations and we will back.

I enjoyed the calmness and privacy of the place. The cuisine was good, the staff was friendly, and the accommodation is in a secure environment.

I think if the surrounding is given more attention - like pruning the flowers, and trees, it will give the place an impeccable look.

The Venue was awesome so private secure and clean. The nature surrounding the hotel was the best experience ever. The food is good with awesome staff.

I was so disappointed with billing at this hotel. I did an inquiry on a few things prior to booking. I had special requests for my room and also I had planned to have a photo session and I spoke with the staff about it who gave me a quote. My special request was accepted with no charge and so I proceeded with all the plans as per the quote and complimentary requests. Few hours later after reserving my room I received an email that my request will be charged. Upon checking in I was again surprised to be told a new quote higher than discussed for photo session. This Part of my experience at la mada gave me a bad impression about the hotel beside all other good things about it.

Not a not like, but service staff for outside on terrace and pool area could be a little more present in mentioned places. Takes a while to order.

Very friendly staff. Nice green garden around the hotel, possibility to sit outside Lovely swimming pool. Quiet area, no traffic noise, Not far from the Karura forest.

AC and tv did not work, but I did not report it, not so important.

The quite and wooded surroundings awesome. The swimming pool is everything you 😍. The room was small, intimate and comfortable. The food is delicious .

The monkeys way to many 😱🤦‍♀️. The Dstv was not clear and the children's Channel was not clear at all. Pool service from the waiter was not good at all. The water in the bedroom was too hot 🔥 🥵 😩 😫 3rd degree burns hot. I wish they had a mosquito net. No one helped us with our luggage 😕 leaving.

Really cheerful and helpful staff Excellent location - easy to get to and from the airport and to move North out of town in the direction of Mount Kenya. Great pool area. The local monkeys were great.

Friendly, helpful staff and large, comfortable rooms make this a great place to stay especially if you want to be in a green area still close enough to the CBD. On the east side of the city it is convenient for Garden City and the ring road to the airport.

My room had some squeaky floorboards so I was conscious of disturbing neighbouring rooms.

Lovely little hotel in lush gardens in smart area of Nairobi (stayed here in 2022). Friendly staff. Excellent value last minute deal
