This is a brilliant place to say. Great view, big room which was very well decked out, comfortable bed and a big, clean bathroom. A brilliant place to stay and I'll probably be back.

It could do with bedside lamps, that's about all I can think of.

The property in sitting on the river , with easy walks on level grounds , I like the proximity to the tavern & gold course , ( very easy ) The pool was close & handy to our rooms This is our second stay at this property & l’m sure we will return .

I found the room cleaning was not so good , with missed patches of dusting , the bathrooms are looking old & tired with lots of repairers to the tiles , the repairs do discolour after time which makes one feel a little uncomfortable , my wife said she felt she would like to give th3 bathroom a good scrub . I found the gardens were looking somewhat tired & needed some TLC.

Lovely being right next to the water. We saw dolphins and sting rays to my children’s delight. A fun playground located next to a lively pub, which had nice food and drinks. The bed was comfortable too. Staff lovely (reception and housekeepers).

Carpet could do with a good clean. Shutters connecting the bathroom to living room were fun, until your kids keep opening them while you’re on the toilet or shower and passer bys get a nice eyeful (great to be able to lock). Free wifi was good but did cut out. Shower pressure was strongest I’ve ever felt in my life… like painfully strong.

Location was excellent and the room was fine. we have stayed there several times in the past as it is a good halfway location to rest on thew way north.

the complex looks to me that it is starting to require an upgrade. The lighting in the room is very dull. We found it very difficult to see in some areas like the coffee making area. The bed head has head stains on it. The shower screen door hinges are worn, and the door doesn't close properly. lighting in the bathroom is dull especially in the shower and around the toilet. The outside areas require a paint job as the timber beams etc are starting to look shabby.

Being so close to the Tavern and not having to worry about drinking and driving. Great walking paths.

The bistro didnt do breakfast .

There was an infestation of ants in my mums room on the bed next door to ours (room 5), we reported it to reception at the time. Also lighting from the tavern to the rooms along your pathway was insufficient and dangerous for my elderly mum, she would never have been able to walk without assistance along there.

This stay has everything in one parcel. The rooms have views of the river and are quite large. A short walk of about a minute gets you to the Shoreline Tavern (part of the complex) which serves meals that you can charge to your room. There is a well appointed shopping centre close by (IGA, butcher, bakery pharmacy etc). One quibble for some people might be that you have to drive a few ks off the highway but that didn't bother me. One major plus was the free Netflix/Amazon Prime available - all you had to do was create a profile. I highly recommend this stay.

Everything about Harrington River Lodge was amazing for us. The late check in was convenient and no hassle at all. The room was great value for money, clean and comfortable. The whole site is beautiful and tidy. Although we never met Craig the host until check out, he was very lovely and helpful with information regarding any future family bookings we might have. Craig was also quick to inform us when we had left some items behind, unfortunately we had traveled too far to turn around but arranged to collect on our way back home. I highly recommend this lodge. Thank you Craig for a lovely experience.

Proximity to River and beautiful walking path. So very quiet as I like it. Availability, closeness to Tavern with very nice meals. Ease of check in and check out.

The 'private ' gate on the river side of the accommodation property and the tavern was so neglected, could not be latched and left my hands filthy. When booking i had no idea that there was no breakfast at the property OR that there was a great breakfast available at the adjoining Golf Course / Cafe. The king size bed was okay but mattress getting rather old

We were upgraded to a riverside suite due to broken air con in the original allocated room. Management rang ahead to check that this was ok. Thank you. Loved the changed room. We will be back next year for riverside room 🙃 great location to golf course for breakfast and Ems Thai! Riverside lodge is a credit to management and team running it! Thank you for a great stay!
