Had a wonderful stay for a few days. Hosts Maria and David were so friendly and hospitable. Loved that there were lots of common spaces including large lounges and wrap around verandas on both floors. Modern shared kitchen with all facilities and plenty of food provided for breakfast. Lots of areas to relax including pool / BBQ terrace and extensive grounds. Plenty of spaces for privacy or to chat. Guesthouse was clean and beautifully fitted out. King-size bedroom was very spacious along with large ensuite bathroom. Convenient location not far from highway and short drive to Blackhead beach or to Tuncurry / Forster. Very highly recommend. Look forward to revisiting.

Nothing at all - it was perfect.

Beautiful house, well maintained gardens, gorgeously appointed rooms. We were downstairs, in a room with 4 poster bed, and small area for dressing, with wardrobe chaise longue and mirror, and a large ensuite. Very comfortable. David pointed out the lounge rooms, dining room and the pool. A range of cereals, fruit, bread for toast, coffee pod machine, fresh juice, fresh milk and even bacon and EGGS! (it's help yourself and self cooking) we ate out on the deck enjoying the magnificent view. The serenity! The hosts were friendly and welcoming. We were sorry that we were only staying 1 night. Forster only 20mins away. Will come back another time.

The property was stunning. The grounds are impressive and the house has lovely, old-world charm due to the many beautiful antiques. The owners were very pleasant and we were grateful that they permitted us to sign in 20 minutes early. Our room was tastefully furnished and the bed was very comfortable. The self-catering breakfast offered a good variety of drinks, cereals, breads and spreads, and the option to cook bacon and eggs.

Unfortunately, our bedroom and ensuite bathroom looked onto a brick corridor. Consequently, the nearby bedroom, with a shared bathroom, would have been preferred.

The place looked like it was fully booked with the four upstairs bedrooms taken. I had a smaller room with two single beds with nice bedding. I probably wasn't expecting to share the one upstairs bathroom with so many people or the share kitchen where we all had to make our own breakfast and wash up. The bathroom was spotless and it was nice that other guests cleaned up after themselves. Good Wi-Fi.

Not so much that I didn't like - it was just that I had to keep ducking out of my room to see if and when the bathroom was available to have a shower, and trying to time my breakfast so we weren't all in the way of each other. A family staying downstairs also used the upstairs kitchen so we were "dancing" around each other. The only other time I've stayed at a B&B was in the UK where they cook breakfast for you, so it was a different experience here. But no real complaints - it is a B&B after all.

Everything!!! Where to start…. The staff/ owners were delightful and went so far to make everyone feel comfortable and provide everything you could need. The property was fully equipped, from ample indoor and outdoor areas to relax and take time to enjoy the beautiful interior of the property to its outside grounds. The pool was great, as well as the BBQ area and plenty of provided food for breakfast. Everything was spotless and you can tell a lot of love and care went into the property. Thank you so much!

There was nothing to fault!

Comfy and warm double bed, brekkie included their own eggs from their chooks which you cook for yourself at your own leisure, late check out at 11am. We got a room with no bathroom or tv, which suited us just fine because we spent most of our time outdoors. You're only sharing a bathroom with 4 other rooms. There is a huge balcony facing the winter sun, which has a lovely view of the property. This hotel is small dog friendly and complete with a pool, big bbq, firepits, and pool table.

No shops, hospitals, cabs or uber close by. Be careful and smart about how you travel as there are no lights on the road at night and they get wallabies in the area which may jump out onto the road.

The last minute availability, the quiet location, but convenient at the same time to getting off and back onto the highway, the lovely ambience and how well done up the building was, showing pride and love for it, charactful decor, self-serve kitchen and provided items for breakfast, friendly and professional host and other guests.

Would have been nice to have own bathroom/toilet in my room, but the bathroom and toilet were nearby my room and very clean and tastefully decorated.

What can I say, this place is so amazing . The location is so tranquil and beautiful. The owner is so helpful and is so customer focused. Not a true B and B, way better. Everything supplied farm fresh eggs, bacon, fresh bread, milk and milk alternatives, fresh juice. They also have a full kitchen that you can use to cook anything you like. The bed was amazing, so many variables, rooms with on suites , rooms with beds only and shared bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again, tuncurry 15 minutes down the road, so convenient

Nothing, everything was supplied

We had access to a good selection of food with good kitchen facilities. Sharing with other guests takes a little give and take by all concerned and was good in our experience. Standard of accommodation and location helps in the type of guests which would come to this fabulous period building. The four-poster bed was very comfortable and there was ample room in the ensuite.

It could have been slightly improved by owners to explain functions and location of remotes for things like air conditioner etc. but that was a minor issue which could be explained by our later than normal arrival.

The bed was comfy got an amazing nights sleep. The lounge area was brilliant for sitting and chilling out in the evening before bed and the whole place was just very relaxed and chilled. The hosts were amazing very friendly explained everything on arrival and nothing would have been too much. The self serve breakfast choices were also plenty. The location was brilliant it was a lovely house with loads of character I would recommend that anyone stay here.
