I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Midlands Motel. The manager and staff truly went above and beyond to make my trip enjoyable. They were incredibly helpful and accommodating, even suggesting some fantastic places to visit in the region. The motel is in a central location, making it super easy to get around. Plus, having a KFC right next door was a bonus for quick meals! The connectivity is excellent, whether you're driving or using public transport. I also had a magical evening sipping coffee by the nearby flowing river, which was such a peaceful and memorable experience. Room was super comfortable and spotless. The attention to cleanliness and detail is evident everywhere, from the linens to the common areas. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area—great value and an even better experience!

The riverside walk nearby was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing stroll. The location was very convenient, with food places and shops within walking distance. Les at front desk was great.He recommended a great restaurant only 5 mins walk which was great. Great food and staff there were also lovely We booked a family room and then we ended up having a family area with dividing doors and two separate tv s. We had a fab view of river. Slept like logs and no noise issues.

The location was excellent for our event. We had everything we needed. We had 5 rooms booked and were not due to check in till 2.00pm. We had a picnic lunch with us and planned to eat along the way. It was freezing and blowing a gale. I rang the motel at 12.40pm and asked if we could get in early as we were freezing and wanted to get out of the weather. Even though not all rooms were ready we were welcomed and allowed to all have our picnic lunch in one of the rooms that was ready. We loved the air-conditioning. The welcome we received was very much appreciated.

I had originally booked the Deluxe Queen Room, and although I was fortunate enough to receive a complimentary upgrade, I still had the chance to view the room I initially reserved—and I was genuinely impressed. The Deluxe Queen Room features a spacious queen-size bed and a private balcony overlooking the river, offering a peaceful atmosphere. The interior is modern, clean, and tastefully arranged, with every detail thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. I was particularly impressed with the flexibility offered to guests in terms of room location, with options available on both the ground and upper floors. This kind of attention to guest preferences really stood out. Even though I stayed in an upgraded room, it was clear that the Deluxe Queen Room would have provided a comfortable, relaxing, and memorable stay on its own. The combination of comfort, thoughtful amenities, and river side view makes it easy to rate my experience a solid 10 out of 10. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this room to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-appointed stay.

The free WiFi was fast and reliable throughout my stay. What really stood out to me was how welcoming and helpful the manager was. Upon check-in, they took the time to tell me about some great local spots to eat and things to do around the area, which made my visit even more enjoyable. Overall, this motel offered great value, comfort, and hospitality. I would definitely stay here again!
