The staff were extremely helpful and went out their way to accomodate even offering to get well above and beyond what was necessary. Every staff member encountered was proactive and helpful plus friendly. The facilities were modern and bedding and pillows were of a high quality and very comfortable to sleep on. Being that the facilities were modern I would feel it’s priced appropriately with far older accomodation that I have stayed at including the many dated 1960’s and 1970’s motels that had little upgrade between new owners. So staying at a nice newer inn here felt really nice. My car had broken down and with the oncoming possible cyclone motels near river arras were considered inappropriate due to flooding risks. With the risk of the Brisbane cyclone hitting port Macquarie and its rain shadow possibly flooding the local region, research had been undertaken to ensure the chosen location was well higher than a location that could flood. The staff were accessible on each occasion via phone call and even offered to pick me up finding out that I had broken down in vicinity to the motel. While I had a tow truck organised in the end, the offer to help showed that this facility is built on good values and I appreciate the help from Cody, AK and others. Finally I’d booked in for four nights and was upgraded from a standard room to a larger room at no extra for me. All in all, finding positive events like this is well worth the praise. I’d highly recommend this location. It is one of those gems (1% - 1 out of 100 locations) that we sometimes come across as part of our travels. Staff attended to washing at reasonable rates and provided a concierge-like service (minus ironing). Brilliant! Thank you to Cody, AK and the rest of the team!

The location is excellent and the property appears to have been recently renovated. Close to the town and overlooking the local golf course which is very picturesque. The room was cleaned to a high standard and bathroom/toilet facilities were very good. Room has a split air conditioner which made our stay very comfortable with the warm humid weather. Only limited contact with the staff but reception while booking in was very welcoming and helpful.

The bed had a very soft mattress and was a bit small for my 6ft frame.

A warm and friendly welcome at reception. The biscuits with the tea making was a nice addition along with plenty of milk and two bottles of water. These small comforts make a difference. Our room was large with an extra large bathroom and shower which is suitable for anyone using a mobility device such as a shower chair. There is one step into the room so it's good for anyone with mobility problems who can make one step. So not "technically" "accessible" but useable. Microwave, plates, cups and cutlery were provided too.

While the bathroom was enormous, there was nowhere to put "stuff". The vanity was small with no drawers or cupboards. Residue from the cleaning solution used in the shower made the floor a bit slippery until the shower water washed it away. Could benefit from a small 30cm grab bar in the shower for that reason (no need to make it look like a public toilet with big rails everywhere!) Indeed, all showers could benefit from this - something to hang onto when bending down.

Travelling with two small children solo can be tricky at the best of times. Whilst it was only a quick overnight stay for us. From the minute we arrived after a long days drive we were greeted with a smile. Staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The kids and I swam til dark in the heated pool tiring them out before bed and another long days drive the next day. I highly recommend and would definitely love to come back and stay again. Locartion perfect for touring Wingham and its environs. Staff were great. Cody is a true local with great know;edge of the area. The fish are a spectacular attraction. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

I kiked everything and didn't like anything.

A place where simplicity with comfort makes all difference. The room we had pet friendly was impeccable clean, and everything was done with detail, which sometimes is missed even by the most luxury hotels. We were truly impressed. The restaurant is not part of the Motor Inn, but it's a few metres from the rooms being so handy . The bar and the dining made it even a better place to be as people were wonderful and the food delicious.

Beautiful quiet location if you don't mind getting off the Pacific Highway a bit. It is a good 30 minute detour off the highway, through Taree to get to Wingham, but you will enjoy a very restful stay in country setting, surrounded by a golf course. A morning stroll is possible and enjoyable. The town has a several good places for breakfast and a bit of sightseeing. The staff at the motel are very helpful and obliging and a late arrival is not a problem. We are looking to come back and use this as a base for doing more tours in the area.

It was all good.

Pristinely clean, quiet, large room with all amenities provided. Attached to lovely Golf Course with decent bistro. Management & staff friendly, welcoming and provided exceptional customer service. Brendan cleaned our Ute windows and fitted a tarp to the back which we had purchased in town. All with efficiency, a smile and chat. Great Aussie country experience.

Nothing - it was all great

This property is in a stunning location, we were over looking the pond and golf course which was just stunning. The moment we arrived we felt welcomed from AK on the front desk in reception. He was very friendly and very happy to accommodate if we needed anything. They have parking outside of your room which is handy and you don’t have to walk far. A vending machine with lots of goodies if you feel like a snack. The Golf Club have amazing food and do raffles which are a good way to wind down and kick back in the evening. Do yourself a favour and check out this stunning place you will not regret it!!

The location was lovely. The room was a very good size and the spa was amazing. Room service was exceptional.

We were in the spa suite to enjoy a well deserved weekend away, however too many people in the room next door (4 kids and 2 adults with only 2 beds) created a lot of noise. Didn't stop until after 11pm than started again at 6am. Despite asking them to quieten down so I could actually enjoy my stay they were quite rude and only became noisier. When paying for the type of room I paid for I did expect to be able to enjoy it. However the rest of the stay was enjoyed.
