The location is so good because other than those at the resort there is crowds around. Timing of course has something to do with that. It is indeed a serene experience. It was good that the bar/restaurant/cafe is operating again and we enjoyed our meal there. The pool is excellent.

Being by the seaside, humidity and salt air take their toll but that is to be expected. This time we stayed in a beach house which to take advantage of the views necessitates stairs. However we had elderly relatives come over for lunch and the wooden stairs leading into the house were a bit treacherous on a wet day as there is no railing for people walking problems. Once inside the stairs are steep but the railings are very good.

Clean and comfortable and a short walk to the beach. However, the beach is unpatrolled so you swim at your own risk. Large pool with a 2nd, smaller one near reception. Loved the garden outlook from the deck. It was quiet and peaceful.

I was glad I had booked a 2 bedroom unit as the ensuite bathroom has a shower over the bath with no grab rails installed! If it wasn't for the 2nd bathroom, I would not have been able to shower during my 3 night stay there. The frig and freezer stank of fish. Some of the verticals were broken/missing slats. You'll need a car as the resort is too far from the shops to walk.

Excellent location of our 2 bedroom apartment very near to the beach and main pool. Roomy lounge/dining area with all facilities required to stay there except no food items or condiments.

The place does though need some items fixed or repaired. EXAMPLE- It says there is a BBQ. But it is so rusty and dirty that it cannot be used. The 2nd bedroom was for my 2 years old grandson, but could not be darkened as the horizontal blinds were not all there, broken. I asked for a cot but it came without a mattress, only a hard board. I had to use spare blankets to make it useable. Just minor things but important. Also, there is a cafe onsite. I didnt know it was open as it always looked closed. I would have gone there a few times over the 4 days there but not until I handed my keys in was I made aware of it being open and it’s open hours.

Resort is quiet, has a bar and a cafe. Pool doesn’t stink heavy of chlorine they have a saltwater pool as an option as well. Is right next to a national park has many opportunities to meet the wildlife. IE wild rabbits, joeys,peacocks. The beach is a 1 min walk from most properties. It’s the perfect getaway

My main problem with the resort is the condition of the properties. Many have a mouldy smell which is inevitable when wetness and constant air conditioning is occurring. However the resort is diligently working on renovating all the rooms.

Loved the wildlife free roaming the grounds, the well thought out layout of the villas, the greenery throughout the resort, the cleanliness of the villas and facilities, loved the pools, the walking tracks, the beach, the massage at the wellness centre, the laid back atmosphere, the friendly and helpful staff. Had an amazing time, pretty sure I have forgotten to mention many things.

I have stayed many times before and really enjoy the property. The proximity to the beach, the pools, and the general layout is great. The staff were great, nothing we asked for was a problem. Always happy to help.

There was both extensive construction, and a conference going on at the time of our stay, which led to an increase in noise during the day and night. While I understand that both of these things will occur I would have liked to have been informed (especially of the construction) prior to my stay. I still had a good time just not as good as previous stays.

I really liked that calm veiws given by the place and the large rooms in the townhouse and the pools were very calm and flowed peacefully. I really loved that the beach was only just a short walk from the villa.

I didn't like that the blinds were missing chunks and had to cover up the holes at night so that I could sleep without having a bright light from the neighbours porch shining in.

Loved the pool and peace. It was quiet and away from it all but the kids had fun as they could ride their bikes all around the resort. Easy for day trips to surrounding areas like Forster. On-site cafe also a thumbs up.

Diamond beach where the resort is was unpatrolled. Short drive to patrolled end though, but we didn't let the kids swim in the unpatrolled parts as it looked a bit dangerous.

Very clean and well appointed. Nice decor and lots of wildlife around. The DBar was very good. We had nice drinks at Happy Hour (4 to 6pm) on Friday evening, and a nice pizza. Unfortunately the bar was closed on Saturday night, which was surprising. The top swimming pool is very nice!

A shame that the DBar was closed on Saturday night, as we had planned to eat there again.

everything! the location was perfect, we got a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom which fitted our. needs better with our toddler.

unfortunately there was villa's being built across from us while we were there so there was nail guns and construction happening as well as toilets being emptied by a truck. this was our only down fall for this place
