This beautifully presented B&B was designed for comfort and with style . The bedroom was unique, with an eye to detail , with sitting room and bathroom . The available lounge room , verandas and garden - stunning . Hosts Ken and Mark welcoming and super friendly. Ken cooked an amazing breakfast . We were so sorry we were at the end of a very long trip and could not stay longer. We will definitely be back

Birches was perfect, very clean, comfortable bed and Ken was the perfect host. He even booked our dinner reservation and offered us complimentary ports before going to bed. We really enjoyed Ken's company and interesting conversation. He couldn't have been more helpful. A beautifully presented B&B and I would say the best place to stay in Taree. Breakfast was delicious. Looking forward to staying there again.

Birches B&B is exceptional. Everything was beautiful; our bed was so comfortable plus we had our own little adjoining lounge with tv and ensuite, so private. Ken and Mark are wonderful hosts and they provided not only amazing accommodation but also a delicious cooked breakfast with incredible coffee. They are friendly, helpful and generous hosts. We were so lucky that they had a vacancy and were able to experience their beautiful accommodation in Taree. Absolutely 5 stars from us.

A beautiful country feel house which has been tastefully decorated and gorgeous garden. We stayed for 5 nights. The hosts Ken and Mark were so welcoming and hospitable. They even took us for a drive around Taree and cooked dinner for us. Breakfast was great, the house was immaculate and the bedroom is spacious. Lots of thoughtful touches like chocolates, bottles of water, freshly cooked shortbread. Highly recommend.

Birches is a welcoming stopover in Taree for our drive on the Pacific Highway. This is our third stay at Birches. Ken and Mark are outstanding and inclusive hosts who provide an excellent standard of accomodation from a secure, cosy, tastefully decorated ensuited room with extremely comfortable bed and lovely touches from bottled water and choccies to a hearty breakfast and homemade shortbread to pack us on our way in the morning.

The hosts and the accommodation are exceptional. It is well-located and immaculately presented. The rooms are a very good size and very well appointed. The breakfast by Ken was great and they provided a very warm welcome. If you want a whole house all to yourself and to see no one else it may not be your scene but the house and veranda and rooms were all wonderful.

We didn’t just like it, we loved it….! A beautifully renovated period home….! Our bedroom, sitting room and bathroom were all modern, very clean and stylish. Our host was lovely as was the breakfast that he prepared.

Everything about our stay at Birches was wonderful. The house and gardens are beautiful, and the room was super comfortable and beautifully decorated. And the hosts, Ken and Mark, are a hoot. They were so friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was delicious! This is definitely somewhere I would look forward to staying at again.

Ken and Mark were the perfect hosts. The room was immaculate with lots of lovely extra touches. We had a separate lounge area and the bathroom was spotless. We were greeted with a fresh pot of tea and homemade shortbread and were served a delicious breakfast the next morning.

Our host Ken was exceptional. We chatted over breakfast and he took us for a tour of town. We walked his beautiful husky dogs Yuko and Hime along the river. Ken gave us great advice for things to do during our stay that helped us to make the most of our time.
