The location is very good, close to shops, the railway station [where I left from], in a quiet area and the motel is quite old in a heritage building and looks and feels very comfortable. The room was rather small, but they had a number of public areas where one could sit and talk or read comfortably. The bed was very good, and contrary to the write-up on booking.com, was also quite large and not single. Breakfast was basic, but easily sufficient [endless coffee or tea, yoghurt, toast, cereals, fruit, cake slices]. The staff was very friendly and they allowed me to check in well before 14:00 - was a very welcome surprise.

Small size of the room. No real complaints or things I didn't like.

Staff were lovely and helpful, even though we arrived late. The after hours check in was great. Also, the internal atrium gave a good sense of security, even if it was a bit of a walk to bring our bags in.

We had adjoining rooms, but a previous guest has lost the key to that door, so we were unable to move between rooms without going outside. Also, we had issues with the bathroom taps.

Very helpful staff with late booking. Showed me to my room with a smile. It was very quiet, so I had a great sleep. The room had loads of space. Fridge toaster, tea, coffee, 2 showers! WOW. Will definitely stay again.

I think a microwave would have been an added bonus. It just happened to be the first time I've ever had something to heat up for a late tea.

Friendly helpful staff at check in. Clean room, good bed. Interesting old heritage building and architecture. Quiet location but only a five minute walk to a major shopping centre, and the Bowls Club next door for meals. Excellent budget motel.

The room was as described on the website, small, but met my needs for an overnight stay, a continental breakfast was included, and it was very good. Bathroom was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the air-conditioning worked well and was quiet

The kettle in the room could be descaled, needed a bit of a clean, but the rest of the room was fine

I liked it is a short walk to the club, comfy bed, clean, nice shower and well heated room. Free breakfast. And most of all it has lots of history was great to walk around and look at some old things.

No cupboards, ok for a night.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but no electrical point near bed. Also a continental breakfast was available at no extra cost.

The angry person in the next room who complained about me keeping the TV on at night even though I could hardly hear it.

Great hotel to stop at for the night. Safe and secure, clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed, breakfast included, and close to other amenities in the town. All you could hope for a night on the highway.

Easy access to parking right in front of my room. The room is quite spacious, and the bed was comfy.

We were traveling between Brisbane and Canberra and it was a very good place to rest and start again
