The location to the airport was excellent. The property is clean and very pleasant, this is not a 5 star property but it is so pleasant that you don't miss the "luxuries" you pay extra for at other properties. The staff are 5 stars, the garden and pool are are 5 stars. Unfortunately, we didn't get the opportunity to have breakfast as we had a very early flight, but the breakfast area looked so cute and clean and we would have liked to try it. Stephen our host actually got up and drove us to the airport!!! He drove us! Wow!! He gave us great advice for location of a dinner in the area and a couple of pints. It is like staying with family and we will definitely stay here again and would recommend it! Top spot and well worth the money!

I chose this guesthouse based on the reviews and a great decision it was! The owners are very welcoming as well as helpful with organizing local tours. The room was very comfortable and the attention to detail is evident inside as well as outside in the lovely garden. Although I didn't have the breakfast, it looked ample and delicious. The proximity to the airport as well as the free airport transfer were an additional bonus. Thank you for your warm and generous hospitality. Very much appreciated. Highly recommend!!!

The guesthouse is run in a super professional and efficient way. Pick up from airport was realized in a few minutes after my call. This was not expected, since I hadn't provided my arrival time in PE in advance. Breakfast: very delicious and plentiful Location: close to PE airport,2mins drive. Restaurants in the neighborhood, but not recommended to walk there. WiFi: strong Cleanliness: perfect Room facilities: flawless. Very spacious. Stephen provided a lot of information which helped on my whole trip to Addo Park and the Garden Route.

Parking was secure, beds were comfy, shower and bath were lovely..so were the added little sweet treats. Out neighbours were a bit noisy from5 am ...having young kids, and eventually at about 7am I told my husband loudly whilst standing in the bathroom that our neighbours were really rudely loud ...and that stopped them right there and they were very quiet. The venue feels homely..and it's clean and close to where we needed to be. We will go again. Next time maybe we will have a braai. Lovely owners

Absolutely amazing accommodation! The rooms are quite spacious and very-very comfortable with everything you might need. Our lovely host Stephen picked us up at the airport and dropped us off the next day without any charge. He was very helpful giving us lots of advice on what to see in the area and where to eat out in the evening. He also warned us about the load shedding time so it didn’t come as a surprise. The breakfast was absolutely delicious (one of the best we’ve had in SA, tbh) served in an interesting place. We laved every bit of our stay!

What’s there not to love?

Stephen was really welcoming when we arrived, showing us to our room and making recommendations for somewhere to eat. The room was well provisioned with plenty of tea/coffee and snacks. Although we booked the ‘small’ budget room, it was spacious and had ample room for us. Nice to have all toiletries including conditioner (always a bonus for me!). Fantastic location for us as a stop over for an early flight.

Our stay at the hotel near Port Elizabeth was highly enjoyable. We appreciated the warm welcome we received upon our late arrival. The garden was beautifully landscaped, providing a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious, although it was relatively expensive compared to other places in South Africa. During breakfast, the host shared valuable tips about interesting spots to visit along the Garden Route, which we found very useful. We highly recommend this hotel for its great service and convenient location.

Really friendly staff who recommend a great restaurant (The Coachman). The room was comfortable with strong WiFi and lots of nice touches, such as plenty of fresh cold water in the fridge, milk and nice biscuits. It was quiet at night despite being so close to the airport and we got a great night's sleep. In the morning they gave us a shuttle to the airport free of charge! This was especially perfect for us as we had a rental car to return upon arrival. It was a 5 minute walk back to the guesthouse on a very safe road. Incredibly convenient and comfortable!

On June 27th, we finished our 6-day self-drive trip along Garden Avenue and came to Top tree Guesthouse near Port Elizabeth Airport. This is also the last day of our 42-day 6-country tour of Africa, and we will return to China tomorrow. Mr. Steven, the owner, warmly welcomed us and arranged our rooms, which are very clean and comfortable. Also, he introduced the nearby restaurants for us. Especially when we flew at 8:30 the next morning and forgot to tell the boss in advance. But the boss and his wife still got up early to prepare a delicious breakfast for us, and also use his car made three round trips to the airport to send us ten people and our luggage to the terminal on time. Let us fell at home. We were very moved. This is a wonderful hotel.

We had a quick but lovely stay at the guesthouse when coming into Port Elizabeth to start the Garden Route. The owner was very nice and the location is great — very close to the airport. The room was comfortable and very well maintained. And there was secure parking. I’d definitely stay there again! It was also tremendous value.
