Great location in a quiet part of a vibrant Oulu city center, in a park and by the river. Hotel is a combination of the modern and historical buildings, very stylish, comfortable and visitor friendly. Our room was spacious, clean and bright, decorated tastefully. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is amazing. This hotel is a place we would definitely return upon our next trip to Oulu 🤍

Almost a perfect hotel. It was a beautifully converted building in a fantastically beautiful location adjacent to the river. The area round the hotel was spacious and quiet when we visited in late August. Lots of young students about to enliven the parks and streets around the hotel. The hotel interior was uplifted by the presence of modern art hanging on the walls. Free parking. A short walk to the town centre. Good breakfast.

No fridge in the room to keep milk for our coffee but reception provided us with a small jug of milk when requested. We were not impressed by the dinner we had in the restaurant. We should have taken the trouble to find somewhere to eat in town.

Great location, walking distance to central. My husband and I enjoyed to walk the park in front of hotel. There were tons of walking paths. Staff was so friendly and room was enough size for couple.

The picture had a kettle in a room, however it was not a kettle in a room. I like drinking a tea all day so it was inconvenience and disappointed. Breakfast was ok no fabulous throughout out my experience in Finland. I did not like the music in the breakfast.

Overall I had a good stay. I chose the hotel because the conference was hosted there. Good facilities for conferences. The food was ok but the lunch was not particularly exciting. Very comfortable bed. The staff was very kind. It is very close to a nice park and walking distance to the city. Bus number 9 (to and from the airport) stops 1 minute walking from the hotel.

The lunch was not particularly exciting. The room was a bit cold at night (even though it was summer), perhaps because the heating was off.

The location, the room very clean and comfortable bed, the view over the river, the decoration and Christmas lights outside. I left very early in the morning, they got me a taxi and a packed breakfast to-go ! Highly recommended.

Quiet and relaxed place. The restaurant was nice and food delicious. Staff were very helpful and nice towards our child.

The pillows were twice too thick and very hard. In such a large room, would've expected a mini fridge.

Very nice repurposed building in a quiet, pleasant park location. The building has been thoughtfully laid out and well decorated with original art. Friendly helpful staff. Decent size rooms with lift access to floors. In room drink making facilities. Very comfortable beds and like Finland generally very peaceful. Decent buffet breakfast with a reasonable selection for vegans, as always there could be a better vegan selection which would also appeal to none vegan guests.

Only stayed for one night, no obvious negative points. A greater vegan suitable selection on the breakfast buffet would be nice though.

The most helpful staff out of all Oulu hotels. They seem like they sincerely wish to help you, not just cold polite smiling like in other Oulu hotels. They always do their best to help.

Too small bathroom. Walking distance to downtown. This is not however a problem with a good weather. Breakfast is a bit poorer compared to other Oulu hotels, but good anyway.

Great value for money, with included parking, and excellent breakfast! Staff was friendly, and extra points on quiet and relaxing atmosphere on breakfast, compared to many other similar hotels.

Location is a bit off-center, which of course does not matter if there's a car in use.

Unfortunately restaurant was closed and it was raining. They gave us some umbrellas and we had a good walk. Irish bar and great Indian restaurant. Garam Marsala.
