The inn is wonderful! The building is very old but they managed to design it in such a way as to preserve the best parts of it while including a new and modern bathroom in the room. The room is very clean, well put, it has everything you might need. The location is perfect, it is very near to the old part of the city but still in a quiet area. We were very happy that we chose this place to stay in Bamberg and we definitely consider it as the place for our next visit in Bamberg. The owners were very nice, friendly and very helpful. Overall we were impressed!

Everything was great, the only thing is that it is not soundproof, which is also understandable because of how old the place is.

Very nice facilities, very nice host! All renovated and high quality. Bathroom was a treat. I got the 2 singles room. Not too big, but enough for a few days, even for two people. All was Very clean, and 100% soundproof. Location is really ok, just a few min from Michaelsberg and the old city, and the river is even closer (However, if you come by train, it's a bit far. Like 35min walk). P.s I dont eat the breakfast, but I saw it coming down and it seemed very tempting! (NOT the basic thing you usually get in hotels...)

Very nice historic building with relatively large rooms for the kind of building. The bathroom was pretty newly refurbished. My room had a very nice balcony overlooking the inner courtyard. Position is on the way out from Bamberg but still pretty close to the city center, perfect if you've got a car. Even though there's no private parking, plenty of parking places close to the hotel.

Unmanned reception in most times of the day. There's no lift, which is totally understandable because this is a historic building, but this may be an issue when you've got two floors to climb.

The building was near the center. The room was big enough, warm and contrary to previous comments the bathroom was totally soundproof. During our stay we didn't hear anything from the neighbouring rooms, although cannot be sure if they were booked.

The building was old and the sink was inside the bedroom (something we already knew though from the appartment's pictures and wasn't such a problem).

In my opinion it is a lovely hotel, old school, quaint, lovely staff, comfortable room.

Parking is hit and miss. Accessibility for someone with disabilities it is not ideal. For anyone else would recommend this hotel.

This is a gorgeous converted inn a little way out of the city centre but right on the riverside. Our room was comfortable with a stylish modern bathroom and a very attractive balcony nook. Breakfast was very nice, presided over by the charming and friendly owner. It felt like we were really guests rather than clients.

Very quaint and comfortable. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Good location - easy walk into Bamberg and car parking only a few hundred metres away. No elevator - so for some people this might be a problem, however only a couple of floors. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Bathroom good size. Good breakfast also. Check in was easy via a code we were sent. Lovely staff on duty next morning.

The hotel is ideally located near the old town, as well as the Steigerwald. It means it's perfect for both walking tours as well as enjoying the shops and breweries.

Very good location next to the downtown, main atractions in Bamberg. It was clean, confortable room and... nice terace. Old building with lot of charme and in same time with great confort. Great value for money.

Very cute hotel with a interesting history. Everything was easy and the room was well enough for our family of four.

Maybe a bit warm, but we vete lucky enough to have a good temperature nighttime
