Excellent little hotel one block from a very chilling beach. Great neighboorhood, with supermarket, pubs and even the nice Pompano Beach pier at walkable distance. The room was clean, spacious, with a complete kitchen and the backyard area is really cool with chairs, swiming pool and cool lights. We really enjoyed our stay there and would deffinetely come back! Even though there's no reception, the staff is very attentive to emails.

There was a cocoroach smashed in the bathroom window and I couldn't reach it to clean. I replied one of the emails they sent to welcome us and ask how's everything, and they promptly reply and managed to clean it. After this episode we didn't see any other insect during one week staying there. So there was a little issue, but very well solved by the hotel. Points for them!

Walk to the beach in 3 minutes. Clean. Nice pool, not too big. Plenty of place to sit or lay by the pool. Good parking.

Was told I could have a specific room on the 2nd floor with a great view because I booked and paid 8 months in advance. When we got there, they gave me the worst room I could imagine with no kitchen sink, next to the trash cans, ground floor where workers hung out drinking til midnight. I was able to move to the room I wanted after 3 nights but had to pay an extra cleaning fee. I tried hard to get them to waive the fee because they misrepresented themselves, but I was wasting my time. I had to pay the extra fee.

This was the best deal you’ll ever find in Pomona Beach! The Wi-Fi works great. The air conditioner sound was just right for this person who loves to sleep with the fan on kept the whole room cool the whole six days I was there… Nice little kitchenette with a very nice sized refrigerator a working microwave And there was hardly ever any noise that I could hear outside of my room even when people were swimming… And one block from the beach right across the street! Also very close to shopping for groceries and everything I needed very thankful I found this place.

There wasn’t too much that I could say I didn’t like I guess maybe the hot water could work a little quicker other than that it was all good…

The room was clean. The area felt safe. There were server stores nearby, including a pharmacy. The place was close to the beach — a 10-minute walk.

When we booked the room, the description of the property indicated there was a storage room so that we could keep our luggage secure while waiting for the room to be ready upon arriving early. However, on the day we arrived, we were told there was no place to store our luggage. Also, since the room we stayed in was on the ground floor and the view from the window was to the street, the curtains were thick and opaque; this meant that when the curtains were shut, not enough natural light from outside could get in and the room got quite dark. There were also not enough power outlets next to the bed. The single one that was close to the bed was occupied by a lamp, so the lamp had to be unplugged to to plug in a phone charger to use the phone in bed while charging.

Everything is centered in the back by the pool ex: the vending machines,bbq grill hammocks, swing chairs and of course the pool. It was clean and very well maintained!! And the vending machine even had my favorite Vita Coco Coconut Water. 😁The room was very well laid out and didn’t feel small even though the room was a studio. I even like your establishment so much I extended my stay another week. That set up also gives you a chance to mingle with the other guests and meet/talk to your fellow travelers! I’ll be back soon!

The vending machine was out of service the whole entire time but that’s all I can say that I didn’t like because everything else was exceptional in my opinion.

I really liked this hotel. The location is fantastic, across the road from the beach and just a few short blocks walk from where I like to be when I visit Pompano - central to the amenities: great bars restaurants...Publix, etc. There were lots of towels provided and they were fantastic quality. The washroom was lovely and updated.

Wifi quality was a bit low. I stayed in Room 14, which was a very nice room, but I had to walk to the front office area to get enough bars to make a phone call. This also affected the TV in my room which was solely dependent on the wifi, as far as I could gather. This is definitely a family place - lots of teens and pre-teens with their parents, so things could get a bit noisy and rowdy at the pool. It's always nice to see and hear people having fun but they should be mindful and respectful of the other guests especially after hours. As a kind suggestion (as I have seen at other properties) Signage with some standard pool rules, as a courtesy to fellow guests, should be posted. I would also suggest a 'no food in the pool' rule.

the room was so clean, so comfortable, well equipped, and decorated, the pool, the location, the rules to keep a good stay sharing with the others guests, I would included the coffee, cream, sugar, water and tea basic for the days the guest paying the room, you know in case is traveling for work and doesn't have car to move a supermarket and just staying to work an spend some time in the pool and you don't want to go outside the place. and I really appreciate all the time I texted asking something your staff were so kind and helpful, 5 stars.

2 suggestion, send a PDF or something before arrived to put in the car to indicate the car is staying in the hotel because the first day I gave wrong plate number and was so late to change or communicate with the office I was so worried If someone tow the car I just rented, you push to fill the check in but I didn't have the plate number until very late How could you change that and make it easier for the guest and safety and organized for your office, and the second was the door lock I could see the mechanism or introduce some tool to open, as a single woman traveling alone I didn't feel some comfortable about it, the place was so safety and quite, just I wanted feel more relax the next time.

The property was in a great location. The pool was clean and the yard around the pool was relaxing! My kids range from 13 to 1 and they all loved it. I felt very safe while there and everybody was very friendly.

My only complaint was the drawers with glass was not baby proof and my 1 year old kept getting into them, but other than that, no complaints at all.

Everything about the stay was excellent.the staff were very professional and some of the nicest people that my wife and I had come in contact with while in South Florida,and I'm not sure if you or the readers of this survey are aware,but people being courteous,and extremely warm and welcoming is a very rare occurrence, especially in Florida, South Florida, pompano and fort Lauderdale to be exact. I'm from Tennessee and a much smaller area,so it's not unusual to be spoken to and greeted with waves and hellos and goodbye's,etc. but not in Florida,most of the time,in my experience and having lived in South Florida,Fort Lauderdale, Boca, Delray for a number of years in the past,I was prepared for the lack of hospitality,My wife constantly had double takes and people glaring at her like they want to eat her,so after a few days in another terrible hotel we were blessed to find Sea Steps,and the professionalism and hospitality of the staff and quality and positive energy the place and staff filled the atmosphere was great. If anyone is going to be in that area for an extended stay or even a night or two,I highly recommend staying at Sea Steps on Ocean Blvd in pompano,...Thank You

This is my honest and sincere review/opinions on my stay.

Great location, so close to a great beach! The checkin process and communication was smooth and efficient, loved it.

Had to get some new stuff for the kitchen as pans were very scratched and knifes were dull. But nothing $20 at Walmart can’t fix. Windows were old and didn’t seem to lock, and had no screens either. We got a message to close the windows at one point for moisture control. Understandable, but we came down south for some warm moist air and being forced to run the AC all day rather than get the ocean breeze once in a while was not ideal.
