Staff were friendly and welcoming, we arrived quite late on the eveing and they were present and we checked in with no issue, they also carried our case to the room. The staff were able to offer suggestions for a range of places to eat which they showed us on the map. The room was a decent size, clean and comfy, as was the spacious bathroom. There were tea/coffee making facilities in the room and little outside noise. The location was convenient for the port and the metro station and a free shuttle was offered to the port on arrival (though we did not use this service). Could not fault it.

The elevator was very small, a squeeze for 2 people, this was not an issue for us but something for anyone with mobility issues to consider before staying.

Great place to stay. Staff are very helpful and accommodating. We have had a free shuttle to the ferry terminal and are getting one back when we return. As well the shuttle will be taking us to the cruise terminal when we leave. Rooms have everything you need. The smaller ones are very functional and there is even a mobile phone you can use for free for local calls. Breakfast is great with plenty of options. I recommend getting the lift from the airport, it can be arranged through the hotel and is a godsend believe me. There is a twenty four hour desk so someone is there to help no matter when you arrive. No keys in drop boxes thank goodness. . There is also a small lift which is useful. Very highly recommended.

I loved everything. We arrived from Poros by ferry and the Phidias Hotel driver was there to take us to the hotel in a lovely fiat mini bus with air con and lovely comfy seats. After a really efficient and friendly check in we went straight to our gorgeous rooms. Extremely comfy beds, coffee machine, fridge and fabulous power shower. The bedding and towels were spotless, the room was dark and totally quiet all night. We left at 5am and the breakfast was already laid out. Amazing. We love it here. It's also close to all the restaurants. The hotel organised our taxi to the airport and the driver arrived in plenty of time. What a great place. We're back in September and can't wait

I really loved my stay at Phidias Piraeus. My room was spacious, quiet and comfortable, the breakfast provided everything you need to start the day, (I especially loved the fresh fruit, yoghurt and honey) and every staff member I egaged with was friendly, kind, professional and very helpful. It is also a very short walk to harbour restaurants, great coffee and a huge supermarket. The free shuttle service to the port or the train station makes this hotel great value for money, especially when arriving by ferry on the day of a taxi strike with heavy bags! I'd stay here again for that alone but will stay again for many other reasons as well.

Although the property is located near the port and not in the most desirable area of Athens, we deliberately stayed here because we were taking a ferry from the port. The hotel felt safe, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was quiet and very comfortable. The shower was great, the bedding was nice, the bed was cozy, and the pillows were comfortable. This was perfect for us just for the last couple nights we were in Athens, we found street parking both days, were able to find a spot to do laundry quickly and there were some good restaurants right around the corner. It was very easy to walk to just about anywhere we needed to go and it was super easy to get to the ferry in less than 10 minutes. Given the convenience, location and cleanliness of this hotel, we would stay again.

Staff amazing, available 24 hours. Very clean, everything you need for a short stay, spacious room and the offered a free transfer to the boat very early in the morning. We were traveling with a baby and we are quite picky with the places we stay and i would definitely repeat.

We booked a suite room as it had a separate room/area for the baby to sleep. However we could not close the door in between spaces. I have to say that we arrived very late and we just wanted to quickly to sleep so we even didn’t ask the front desk, we just try but didn’t work and because we already left the baby in the crib we didn’t want to make noise.

Stayed one night at the Phidias Piraeus hotel as our last night in Athens before our flight home and had low expectations. We just needed a clean and safe place to sleep for one night after disembarking from our ferry journey. Firstly I was deeply impressed by the communication from the hotel via the Booking chat feature. When we arrived at Piraeus port (after telling the hotel which ferry we were on) a driver was waiting to take us on their free shuttle service to the hotel. We had a warm welcome from Dimitris on the front desk. Big shout out to Dimitris who was helpful with information regarding the local area and helped take our suitcase up to our room. The room was super comfortable, modern and looked like it had been recently refurbished. There was a little fridge with complimentary bottles of water, a kettle and even a Nespresso-style coffee machine. The bathroom was a good size with a powerful shower. The local area was also great - lots of lovely shops and restaurants and a huge hypermarket a few minutes walk away. It's also a 5 minute walk to the Dimotiko Theatro metro station which is the first stop on the direct line to the airport. There was also a great breakfast included in our room rate - there was hot (bacon, eggs, pancakes) and cold (yoghurt, fruit, cereal, pastries etc) food on offer. All in all I was so blown away by this little hotel (and also the Piraeus area) that I wished we could have stayed another night at least. At check out Dimitris kindly offered us a parting gift but sadly I had to decline as it was a small bottle of liqueur and I can't drink alcohol. Nothing I didn't like. This is an excellent small hotel!

-Comfortable room: the single room looks small in photos but the space is used efficiently so it felt cozy rather than small. Nice firm mattress and good pillows. AC worked well and there is also a screen on the sliding balcony door if you want fresh air but not flying insects in your room :). -Front desk staff were generally friendly and helpful. The cook?/breakfast guy is really lovely and I saw him constantly working to refill breakfast items and also clear and wipe down tables (maybe he needs someone to help him). -The location is very convenient and quite quiet. For those using the X96 bus from the airport, you get off at DIMOTIKO and just have to walk another 10 minutes or so. Going *to* the airport is even easier as you get on at TERPSITHEAS which is even closer, maybe 4-5 min on foot. I used the shuttle (well, paid taxi) to the port once to catch an early ferry, but walked to and from the port the rest of the time as it only takes 12min or so... very convenient. -Also like that there is a kettle in the room and a mini-fridge with a bottle of water... and the water was actually replaced too, which was a pleasant surprise.

-There were maybe 6 tables of 4 in the breakfast room, which at peak hours filled up fast. One morning there was no free table so I just went back up to my room and came down again 20 min later, luckily I had no ferry to catch or it would have been really inconvenient instead of a minor annoyance. There is definitely room to squeeze in a few smaller tables for solo travelers or couples. -They could use a Do Not Disturb sign for people who don't want/need their room serviced.

The staff on reception are outstanding. They are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Loved the free transfer to the port as we were going on a cruise. The room has a Nespresso machine and bottled water. The hotel is close to lots of restaurants and a supermarket. The reception printed our cruise luggage tickets as well. Great hotel generally.

The breakfast was below average. Selection was very small. I tried some of the egg - it was cold, cheese was hard from being left out as were the bread rolls. Coffee was lukewarm. If I stayed here again I wouldn’t add the breakfast as plenty of places around the hotel to eat.

Kostas, the front desk staff & Nicolas were exceptional. They were both friendly, professional & went above & beyond with service. Kostas made an exceptional dinner recommendation for our group. The free shuttle to the port was a wonderful bonus. Breakfast was good. Room was clean, & beds comfortable.

There was a neighborhood dog that barked, but finally the owner took him in the apartment. It was not too late, so we had a good nights sleep. The elevator is very small, so Kostas took our suitcases up to our room. On check out multiple floors of people trying to use elevator was a bit time consuming, but eventually we made it down LOL.
