Central location in Ocho Rios, lovely staff, picturesque views of the ocean, excellent breakfast included and run by an exceptional owner/manager Tony Powell who was so friendly and helpful. We felt so welcome from the first minute we arrived and after my daughter went home - I decided to stay another week!

Hard to find any fault with this hotel for the price, service and location.

The staff were lovely. Particularly Danvil at the bar & Akeem at breakfast The cocktail prices were very reasonable The pool was clean & the grounds were well maintained

The poor Macaw parrot sitting along in the boring cage day after day . Its animal cruelty Macaws live for a long time The hotel either needs to get it a mate or better still cut some of its wing features & let it room around the hotel The guests will love it & it won't be able to fly away Even if it is tied with one leg to a perch in a shaded spot in the restaurant it would be so much better than the cruelty it is suffering now In Australia the owner would be fined & the bird taken away from them

Everything was liked about the hotel, the staff, the room and the restaurant, both with a beautiful over the sea. The room standard was good for what we paid.

I only stayed there for one night, which happened to be a Saturday The only let down was the location, which cannot changed. The loud sound of music on the main street kept me awake all night. If the hotel was 1000 meters further along the road and away from the town, I wouldn't hesitate going back there to stay. I was told Monday to Thursday is a quiet period.

For the price you can’t go wrong, right in centre, good parking, WiFi was good, nice sized pool and jacuzzi, food was good. Most of staff were very friendly. Only stayed one night,

Couldn’t see much of a beach but didn’t walk down. Also security who showed us to room was more interested on talking on his phone than helping us or showing us the room, we were fine carrying our bags but never not been offered and always show us key things in room, he just chatted on phone whole time and as soon as got to room walked off. Just surprised me tbh. Apart from that great hotel for the price

I’ve been to Jamaica numerous times but this was my first time solo as a widow. The staff was excellent. My room comfortable. Views stunning and food delicious. I felt safe. I read the reviews about the nightclub noise. Didn’t bother me at all. But if you want quiet don’t stay in town. Jamaica is not quiet. Period. They like to blast music in the streets. Stores. Moving trucks. The property has nice gardens to retreat to. If you have problems with stairs I would not recommend. There are a couple ramps but you would never get to the bar or to upstairs rooms. I thought this would be my last trip to Jamaica but I think I’ll return for a couple weeks next time!

I can’t think of anything. lol I wish the pool had been constructed differently to face the sea and not require a bridge. But it’s a lovely pool!

I loved the food. The fish market provided many great foods. The bar was exceptional. Your dirty banana, sex on the beach cocktail, was marvelous. Wish I could the whole restaurant hone, lol. The room was cozy and clean. The massage staff were professional and made me feel relaxed. Thanks Le Mer Spa. I loved the view of the sea.

The whirlpool was a little too hot. Poop and sea are a bit deep, but I managed to enjoy them.

Breakfast was delicious. We loved our room. They have a bar and restaurant on site. Staff was super nice and professional. The grounds were beautiful. Location was perfect- right on Main Street in Ochi. I couldn't reccommend Hibiscus Lodge enough. We will absolutely be back next year (3rd time). Thanks!!!!

Everything was great.

The facility was calm and quiet. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, the staff is very friendly, polite & helpful. The food was also good. Extremely cost-effective. If you need a place to relax...this is the ideal place. Yet if you also need to party, there are nearby places outside to do so. Then return to relax. It's a win, win. Kelly

I liked the room. It was crisp and clean. Beautiful view of the ocean. Had a nice patio for reading and relaxing outside of the room itself. Had a quaint cozy feel. Breakfast was excellent! Service was excellent. I also loved that they decorated the room for my partners birthday!!

Just replenishment of toiletries like shower gel and no phone in the room.

Loved the location. Setting and grounds spectacular. Ate at Almond Tree two evenings and food and service excellent.

Front desk surly and rude and anything but welcoming. Stressed that deposit against damage of 100usd required. This was acceptable but when we attempted to turn on reading lamp found it to be broken and glued back together. Back to reception to explain that we had no wish to be accountable for damaged lamp and needed it changed. Broken lamp taken and replaced by yet another rude, surly woman, not a good start.
