Food here is great. They freshly cook as per your request. Just in case if the food isnt available in the property, there is a restaurant Green Kubu in a beautiful rice terrace which is open till 10pm & it is at a walking distance of 1 minute literally from the property. The stay is at a prime location. They also have bike in the property itself for rent. Staff here are available 24*7 and they fulfil all your requests right in time. Very helpful staff, they make sure you are comfortable, they give you all the possible options that they can offer to you. They do give a lot of importance to hygiene & cleanliness Special shout to the staff Aditya & Agus who helped us a lot during the stay of 5 nights. We totally felt like home & confortable.

My only suggestion is to keep more food options & price it reasonably. I will still rate this stay a 10 on 10 as this is my suggestion

Hosts were very kind to accomodate the breakfast also for our two toddlers which initially was not included in the booking, really appreciate this gesture. Hotel also connected us with a driver ( Nyoman +62 831 1446 3077) who helped us plan our visits to the attractions around this property and acted as driver cum guide for the tour , he also helped us visit some key places on the way back to the Airport which helped us make the most of our last day at Bali. In addition to this place of stay will also strongly recommend Nyoman.

We loved our stay at Villa Tanah Carik! We had a large group of family and we appreciated having so much space as we used both villas. The view over some rice fields is amazing! There are restos close by - Green Kubu and Secarik Kopi. Secarik Kopi is staffed by the villa staff and will kindly bring your meals over to the villa! The pools are smaller in size but just enough for a swim! The staff are polite, friendly and helpful. Location is a fair way out of Ubud - 30mins with traffic - but we loved being far from the hustle and bustle. You could take 15-20 min walk to the little village for a few shops and other cafes. You can arrange day tours with the staff (this took a few steps - ensure you have WhatsApp!)

The kitchens were not really usable for our stay which was fine as we didn’t require them but if you are considering cooking for yourself I would ask for the kitchens to be fully stocked and cleaned. We were so happy with the grandeur of the villa rooms and bathrooms but in general needs some minor maintenance and a deeper clean. Comfortable beds and clean and fresh bedding, although a little bit old (we had some tears in a doona cover)

We really loved the place as we stayed there 10 days during our working holidays. It was amazing to wake up with rice field view behind your window. Additionally, the place is much much calmer than Ubud which is super busy and overwhelming. The hotel stuff was super friendly, they helped us to rent a scooter on a good price. Additionally, breakfast were really tasty.

What I didn't like were the noises at night. There were some dogs wowing and also some sounds from the restaurant which is nearby. Additionally, the acustic is quite bad, sometimes we could hear what people in other rooms were talking about.

My stay at Villa Tanah Carik was peaceful and relaxing amongst the rice field! The room and bathroom is big ! I really like the way the decorate the room. Swimming pool is nice too. There is a cafe Green kubu nearby and also A vegetarian warung literally accros à the street! It’s also easy to go to Tegalalang nearby attraction by Gojek. If you are looking to relax outside of crowdy Ubud this is the perfect place too ☺️ Suksma 🙏✨

Great value for money! The hotel is small but the rooms and bathrooms are spacious and the bed is very comfy. Rooms are cleaned daily. Staff were friendly. The scooter we rented at the hotel was almost new. Don’t miss out on trying out the Restaurant ‚Golden‘ next door. We ended up eating there every night of our stay because the food was just so good.

The pool didn’t seem clean (pump was not running) so the water was a little greenish and milky. The room doors can easily be opened from the outside even when they are locked. They provide a safe for valuables but it still was a bit odd. You need to pre order your breakfast the night before your a specific time. Eggs were cold as we showed up a little later than planned.

Good, secluded location next to paddy fields but still accessible to many places. There is a hotel-run restaurant just opposite the property. Other restaurants are within walking distance including the popular Greenkubu Cafe. There are two x 2-story villas within the property and we booked one villa to ourselves with private swimming pool and private kitchen. The staff is on the premise and always approachable. The weather is also very cooling, which reduces the need for A/C, especially for the 2nd floor units. A very ideal location for the entire family.

There is a parking lot in front of the company-run cafe but can only barely fit two 7-seater cars.

Villa Tanah Carik offers a charming boutique experience set amidst serene rice fields. The decor is vibrant and inviting, reflecting Balinese culture. It offers friendly and exceptional service, with staff going above and beyond to ensure comfort. Very calm and peaceful location. Ideally located with Alas Harum just at a distance of 3-4 min bike ride, while Ubud market is 15-18 min ride away. The villa is very clean and picture perfect. Though the resort looks small, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The beautiful little swimming pool is tough to resist. Highly recommended if you are visiting Ubud or Tegalalang.

So welcoming! Apart from the road noise which you could easily ignore, it was so quiet and peaceful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We would happily go back and recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Water overspray from the shower was a little annoying but we found that was common everywhere we stayed, so not a big deal. More kitchen supplies would have been handy, such as glasses and bowls.

I fell in love with this property. It is small, well maintained, and full of friendly faces ready to help you with your every need. The location, design, architecture, and plants are absolutely stunning. Plus it was the comfiest bed with the softest sheets during my entire stay in Bali. Agus and Aditya are attentive and so kind. Agus especially took care of me during my stay, he made me feel so safe and welcome. He always went out of his way to help me.

The pool was so cold :( Otherwise it was a perfect stay.
