The room was close to the town centre and the cheese market. The room was well equipped with a kitchenette. Beds were comfortable. Good Wifi Breakfast was decent.

Parking was a slight distance away at a parking garage across the canal. But you can park your car near the room to unload the luggage. Our room was away from the reception area and the main hotel. So you have to walk a bit to go for breakfast. The shower area was quite small and there was no door.... so the bathroom floor gets wet.

The room was clean, prepared very nice and had not the steril hotel feeling but gave a feeling of coziness. Room in the roof was absolute stunning! The little welcome card and additions were put nicely on the bed for arrival. We didn't expect anything from the breakfast and were surprised how well it was prepared and organized. We had a whole buffet just for our table! Awesome :) Also the lovely man who checked in made sure we would get our breakfast before leaving early for our business meeting. Thank you!

Water pressure was enough but could have been a bit more. Pillow a bit too high but that is a me problem. The seagulls went crazy in the morning but that's nature and not the hotels fault - they were so kind to offer earplugs :)

Location was directly on the canal, and 100m from the main square (Cheese Market). The room had both a bath and a shower. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and varied (bread, cheese, fruit, eggs, etc.), although the same each day. Housekeeping was good, and we were able to opt out as we did not need it every day.

The bath filled slowly, although the shower pressure was fine. The bath is open to the main room (not really an issue if you want to watch TV in the bath!). There was no kettle provided.

Hotel King's Inn is very well located not far from the center - about 5 minutes walk. Rooms clean, quite spacious, very well furnished. Staff nice, willing to help with everything and fully professional. Breakfasts are varied, everyone chooses their own (ham, cheese, yogurt, fruit, sweet croissants, muffins.....). The stay can be paid by card or in cash. I highly recommend everyone to use it to the fullest.

The staff were excellent - they could not have been more helpful or polite. The room is small but perfectly adequate for an overnight or short stay. Breakfast is a 2 minute walk away in the hostel which had a good variety of food. The hotel is right in the centre of Alkmaar and only minutes away from the shops, bars and restaurants.

The lighting in the bedroom was rather dim. Weekends can be noisy due to the close proximity of a main multi storey car park but otherwise is fine.

The facilities were scattered around, it was a bit confusing, but nothing can be done about it since this is how the buildings are structured. Figured it out pretty quickly though! I initially requested a late check-in, but my schedule changed a bit so I arrived around 21 and had a bit of trouble getting in. It was fine though, should've updated the staff beforehand, especially considering it was on Sunday

Clean but very compact rooms, with comfortable beds. The location was perfect to visit the cheese market and beer museum, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had searched for and booked rooms for four adults and two small children on Booking.com, but when we arrived the hotel only had a booking for four adults. Fortunately the (very helpful) staff could find one cot for us, but the other child had to sleep in the small double bed with her parents. Not so comfortable.

It feels more like an apartment unit, rather than a hotel. It is very nice. Lovely view over the canals. However, the layout of the room was a bit strange. The toilet, shower and bed are all in the one room which may not be the best experience for a couple sharing.

At night I couldn't close the curtain because it was too hot and I wanted the window open. Not a huge deal for me but this could really annoy others.

It was in the center of Alkmaar, very near the cheese market. At the property we had excess to the canal and there we had a private area.

We had a small room in the attic with a small window. Due to the hot weather and being on top floor it was really hot. We were provided with 2 small fans which was not enough.

Kings Inn Hotel was quiet (away from the 15minute church bells) private and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The airline delivered my bag to the hotel and rhe staff delivered it to my room which I greatly appreciated! The location is excellent - near town centre and bus stop which takes you to the Alkmaar station.

The room was very small but perfectly sufficient for me. It would have nice to ha e a little fridge but all other facilities were good.
