Stayed here with my partner and my parents in 2 apartments. Comfy beds, very clean and modern apartment, good location near supermarket, really helpful friendly hosts.

Worth noting apartment 1 is directly onto the street if you’d rather a bit more of a secure apartment, also steep stairs to the other apartments that could do with a tidy up / being painted as walls are very marked and makes the property look quite tired, which takes away from the really lovely apartments. Apartment 7 also had a poor pressure overhead shower head, and the handheld shower head was leaking , room also quite hot as air con wouldn’t stay on.

It is a modern furnished apartment very well presented and great central location. The facilities were superb and the toiletries were high end. There is a supermarket just over the road if you need anything. Though there is parking next to the supermarket the parking is much cheaper if you park next to the town hall only 200 m away. Alkmaar is a beautiful town surrounded by canals and it’s old medieval streets are a joy to walk down. It is also a great base to visit northern Holland.

The church bells but they didn’t have much control over them - bring earplugs as we did and you’ll be fine!!

The apartment was nice and clean and had an interesting setup. There were a lot of tools one can use in the kitchen and there was also a fridge and dishwasher. Actually, the apartment has everything one can need in a normal home/ apartment. The bed was comfortable and very clean. The location is excellent, in the city centre, so everything was near. Alkmaar is very nice and interesting, there are things one can do and see so you can't get bored there.

There were mosquitoes in the apartment and the apartment was not equipped with a device one can plug and kill the mosquitoes without any other human action. Instead, there was a device like a tennis racket one can use to chase the mosquitoes one by one during the night.

The hotel was perfect for us. Situated in the centre so everything was within easy reach and just less than 15 minutes walk to the railway station. There is a supermarket a few minutes away which was very convenient. The apartment was clean and comfortable. I was a bit worried by the digital key thing knowing how technology can be a pain sometimes but actually it worked perfectly. As others have commented it is near to the church so you can hear the bells but we weren’t bothered by that at all and they certainly didn’t keep us awake. Although reception is virtual we felt welcomed and they deal with any questions quickly. We would definitely stay there again.

The room was big and equipped with everything we needed. Very clean. Big bathroom. The location was amazing. exactly in the center, close to everything. We didn't need to move the car while we were there. The owners were super nice and helpful, and answered immediately. The key is through a link in the phone which is so easy. We arrived very late, did an online check-in a day before and got the key link on the same day of arrival. Very recommended.

Great central location. Modern, well equipped apartment. Clear access instructions from the staff and very hospitable- water, tea/coffee & a little tasty gift on arrival.

The apartment is very close to the cathedral and the bells ring all day and all through the night- you need earplugs to be able to sleep. Very steep stairs to access the apartment which would be a problem for those with mobility issues.

Absolutely beautiful apartment in center of lovely town, with everything you could possible want. We had the ground floor suite which was still very quiet. Walked out to find the market had set up just steps away. Super easy online check in. Bed, shower, towels and sitting area all top notch. Will be returning for longer stay as apartment has washing machine and dishwasher and fully stocked kitchen making it truly vacation usable.

The location in town is wonderful - close to all the sights, good restaurants and convenient parking.

The apartment is located at the junction of 2 streets, which carried a fair amount of pedestrian, bicycle and car traffic. Since the apartment is on the ground floor and right at street level, it was necessary to keep the blinds closed in the only windows in order to have privacy.

It was my second time traveling to Alkmaar from work, but my first time in this hotel. It was great! the room was beautiful, clean, and had a fully equipped kitchen, and a comfortable living room and bedroom. Its location is also a big plus as it's close to the center. The hosts were also great. though they aren't physically there, they are always available by text or phone.

Not a lot I can say about my dislikes as there weren't any. The rating on this website is justified.

We were notified us of activities in town, there was a fair being set up. Location was in middle of town, but still reasonably quiet although there was a fair. We liked everything the rooms, beds, bathroom were excellent and everything was clean. The facilities were close by, restaurants, supermarket and the "Kaasmarkt" historical landmark of Alkmaar was a 10 minutes walk.
