The breakfast was great there were lots of choices

Staff were so lovely and lent us a European plug for a week when we forgot ours - the room was really clean and quite modern, and the cleaners did an amazing job with cleaning the rooms. In terms of location, there was a regular bus to the centre of Zaandam/train station,every 25 mins or so which took around 15 mins to get to the station. Was easy to travel to Amsterdam/across the Netherlands. Really good value for money and better than staying in Amsterdam in our opinion!

Shame there was no kettle / fridge as would have been really nice to have hot drinks as we stayed for 7 nights

This is an excellent hotel with very helpful and friendly staff at reception. It may not be that central to Amsterdam but it was easy to undertake a short and efficient commute by a local bus and train connection into Amsterdam. The hotel is good value for money and has a very good breakfast that is available for a very reasonable cost. The room was very pleasant andf the beds and linen and towels very good. exceptionally clean room and very good room service. Bathroom was large and the shower was excellent. All in all this hotel would be great for travellers with cars but is works well for independent tourists. It was only a short walk to the bus connection in a safe area.

We loved how comfy the beds were and that there were seperate doonas as it meant we could both be comfortable. There was ample storage space and charging ports which made charging and storing our devices easy. The facilities were FAB!! the shower was spacious and the lighting in the bathroom was lush. The staff the greeted you at the front were lovely and made sure that everything was all okay.

Wasn't aware of the holiday tax that you had to pay upon arrival, so just be aware.

The room was clean and well presented. The window opened wide and the air con worked well. The staff were friendly and polite. Cleaning staff did an amazing job. Bus stop was nearby that took us everywhere we needed. Near to a nature reserve which was beautiful for an evening walk.

This hotel is definitely catered better for people who can drive as there were no shops within walking distance, but with some preplanning that's not that bad. Breakfast was €12 a head which felt very pricey

I have traveled for several years and have had great experiences with many hotels. The staff here were exceptional at hospitality. They were always ready to help out with anything. They made the stay very easy. When we needed to book our room for the return home, we knew that they would be in our return plan.

The location is in an area away from any activity or restaurants. They made up for it with areas outside to sit and relax.

The reception staff were really cool and helpful. Breakfast was ok for the price. Was a bit further out from the city than I expected but this was on me. The bus rides to and from the hotel made up for it with super friendly drivers and residents from the area ... actually a highlight of the location.

On my last day the housekeeping kept knocking on my door periodically from 8:30 am until I checked out at 11 am yet check out is stated as 12 noon. I chose the hotel for the late check out so this defeated the purpose. Put up your do not disturb sign on check out morning if you intend to sleep in.

The staff were extremely welcoming and happy to help whenever we had questions. They were extremely polite and always smiled and greeted us whenever we were leaving and coming back. The location was extremely easy to get to by bus although we had to get a Amsterdam and Region travel ticket as it is outside of the inner city area in Zaandam. However, the bus comes quite frequently and is an extremely quick trip to the hotel- especially Zaanse Schans!!

Everything was excellent. The only downside I could say is about the lack of kettles in the room. We have a habit of drinking hot water so we had to go down to the breakfast area to get hot water but that's also okay.

Very clean, the staff were super friendly and extremely helpful. Loved the little snack area they had, very good and good prices really.

A little basic facilities wise, but you get that with the price and it had a bed, tv and shower facilities so didn't really need much more. Saying that, the option for a fridge or a coffee machine/kettle wouldn't go a miss.

Very clean and tidy room, friendly staff and delicious breakfasts. We didn't immediately figure out the payment for transport to Amsterdam, because there are different buses, different car companies and prices. But in general this does not apply to the hotel, only to the specifics of its location.
