The room is really nice, beautiful and cozy. It is quite big. The view is also great just next to cannel. Location of the hotel is perfect. Just a few mins work can reach bars and restaurants. The staff are very kind. I had late check in and heavy suitcase. They opened the door for me and carried it for me to my room. Really appreciated. Above all, I really recommand this hotel and will stay again if in Alkmaar.

Hotel Luttik is a true gem in the old centre of Alkmaar. The building is from the 1600, beautiful restored and full of character. The owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating, the morning breakfast in the breakfast basket in the room is fantastic, everything is fresh, local and yummy. The room is spacious, comfortable and provides a relaxed environment to come home to. The hotel is in walking distance of restaurants, stores, cafe's and the inner city of Alkmaar. The room looked out on the old inner city and was on one of the old streets with channels, which makes it a picturesque and unique!

Outside of the fact that we had to carry our suitcases up the stairs as there was not elevator available in the building (remember it is an old protected building), there is nothing we would change.

Boutique hotel located very near the Cheese Market square. Good restaurants nearby. Room was very spacious and beautifully decorated included dressing area and huge stand alone tub. Great stay!

The only issue we had was the very narrow winding staircases - it took two strong men to negotiate the stairs with luggage.

Absolutely loved the historical building the hotel was situated. I like the idea of a concept store x hotel. Our room had an open concept - minimal design, with a beautiful bath tub and lovely views over a bridge and the canals.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property.

Location was very good. Moden super clean room. The huge tub was an expected surprise.

We arrived after 6 pm. Would have appreciated specific directions on where to park. The steps were a challenge, especially with luggage. Maybe communicate this clearly on website so guests understand.

Very nicely renovated old building in the city center. Everything in walking distance. Staff very nice, friendly and helpful.

Nothing at all. One tip: Don‘t put all stuff into one luggage when you book room 6 (top floor, very nice and good view…) The stairs are very british and steep..

It was for sure the most beautiful hotel I have every visited. Of course it depends what you expect, but if you prefere a small familly accomodation, it is a real gem. The whole house was built at the begin of 17th century. Interior is complete wooden, so it can happen to hear the noise from the above apartment, becasuse it is a type of the house, but if you expect 100% noise privacy and isolation you should choose a separte apartmant. The room looks better than on the photos and the window view is just amazing - directly to the channel and a typical dutch channel bridge. The owners are so friendly and helpful and thank you folks for the conversation. You can order your breakfast in the room or enjoy it at the morning street or at the table with your book. Up to all, it was really 12 of 10 points, but as I said, it depends what you prefere. If you prefere this kind of accomodation you should take it!

I loved the design of the place, the cozy feeling one had inside, the beautiful view of the city, the comfortable furniture, the bathtub, the coffee served to one's room, the friendly stuff... All of this combined made our experience a great one!

Truly exceptional place to stay. Fabulous room, delicious breakfast. It’s located right in heart of the city, still not too noisy at night.

We couldn't fault our stay in any way. The room was beautiful and staff were lovely, we will definitely be back!

A TV in the room was the only thing missing.
