Considering how expensive it can be round Como, this hotel is excellent value for money. We stayed in a family unit (mezzanine floor). It had one bedroom upstairs, with twin beds, with its own door for privacy plus a separate bathroom. Downstairs, although not private from anyone coming down from mezzanine level, there is a large (king size or close to) bed with a TV on the wall. Downstairs also provides its own bathroom plus a space to sit down next to a table and sliding doors to a small but useful patio with table and chairs. It’s on the ground floor. The room was cleaned every day and the breakfast was plentiful. It doesn’t have the mega variety of a 5 star hotel but there is plenty of choice with fresh coffee available on request and scrambled eggs and toast. You can boil your own egg if you want. Breakfast for us was perfect. We filled up and off we went. In Domaso there is a ferry port (5 mins walk). And next to the hotel there is a restaurant. Plus 100 yards away is the lake and a nice cafe/bar. You can borrow bikes (free) to ride around the lake (and it’s been very well constructed for walkers and cyclists). There is a bus stop (5 mins) that we used to go to town on the Domaso side of the lake plus to Colico when we needed to catch a train to Milan (2 hour journey). We organised our own transfer by private miiibus (around 450 euros return). Alternatively, we could have hired a car but our thoughts were that it would be more expensive and the restricted parking, in towns, would be an issue. The hotel has a good parking lot. There are plenty of great restaurants dotted around the area if the hotel. TBH, having been to Menaggio, Bellagio and Tremezzo, we are glad we stayed here. It’s less crowded and bustly and reasonably priced for Como (not saying it’s cheap but it is Como). Overall, myself and my wife along with our two children (20 and 17) had a great time. Felt relaxed, enjoyed the food and towns we visited.

Exceptional hotel. By far exceeds what you can expect of 3* hotel in Italy. Everything is perfect - staff, cleanliness, exception breakfast and service during the breakfast. I recommend to take a room to lake view. Ang overall a very good experience in this hotel. Highly recommend.

Lunch and dinner restaurant in the hotel premises - be aware food was not impressive (however restaurant does not belong to the hotel). Breakfast is served (by the hotel) in another location and it is really good. Everything was perfect in the hotel.

Wonderful and cozy hotel on the coast of Como lake. Staff is helpful and friendly. Spacious rooms (two floors), perfect for families with the kids. One hour of sauna with the steam room is included per each day of stay, one just need to book it. Swimming pool is available (worth mentioning that it is not heated, thus in October is was cold a little – but it was nice to mix it with sauna). Breakfast is more than enough. One hour of bike renting per day is included. Again it was sufficient. No problem with parking.

None - everything was good

The rooms are very clean the price was good but the location sucked. The location was not great because the ferry was very limited and there are no taxis. I gave it eight stars because the reception staff was not as friendly. The staff in the breakfast were very welcoming and super nice. It’s not bad place to stay, but if you’re looking to get around the other islands, you definitely need to plan transportation ahead because the commute here is very bad.

staff were very friendly and super helpful! the room was very comfortable and clean, with AC and a mini fridge the breakfast was delicious! there are lots of restaurants nearby and the ferry station is a 7 min walk the views from the room are amazing at any time of the day

if using public transport to come here like me, don’t arrive before 9am or after 9pm because the transports finish and it is very difficult to get a taxi

A lot of noisy kids around the pool but it was summer vacation so it’s expected. Our room was nice and quiet. The shower needs a curtain - impossible to use it without flooding the floor!

Property was very clean and spacious. Had bonus of the spa facilities. Staff were always very hopeful, knowledgeable and friendly. We were later than expected to check in at nearly midnight and called the hotel with no issues. Plenty of secure parking. Really convenient location to walk locally to restaurants, although we went to the adjoining restaurant which we really recommend. Breakfast was ample and fresh, again lovely staff in the breakfast room.

Very clean hotel with daily room service. Close to the Como lake, as well as to the small and nice Italian city with beautiful architecture. Breakfasts are various and tasty, a lot of fruits, different bread, differently cooked eggs. Breakfast room is also nice and clean, with the lake view. I felt like they care about their guests and help in your particular cases (we arrived quite late when the reception was already closed, but they found the solution, so that we can reach our room).

Hotel is located right by the beach. There is a partial view of the lake, and a good view of the mountains Reception lady was nice and helpful The room is nice and modern and has coffee and tea, a table with chairs and a little balcony. Modern Aircon and what seems to be sound proof windows There is free parking and a very good restaurant in the main building. The beach is public so its a pleasure strolling along. The pool looks nice Breakfast was plentiful and had a huge variety of everything we loved it. Please notice beds r not really double but they are joined together in a comfortable way.

The hotel is located at the less glamorous part of the lake serounded by campgrounds, it was cheaper than other sea view properties , but still not cheap. It was September so we didn't hear any noise from nearby campgrounds, but I have no idea what it's like in summer. View was nice and could even be better since you see both lake and mountains, if it wasn't for the private villa right in front, somewhat obstructing the view. We couldn't keep the window open due to bugs of all sorts please please put mosquito nets!!!!
