There was plenty of parking and close to my workplace. A comfortable enough place to relax and lay my head after a long day at work. The areas outside and inside were generally clean. The bathtub in the room was clogged and drained very slowly. When I brought it to the attention of the attendant on duty, she was quick to make sure it was fixed.

The smoking areas are too close to the building. I'm a non-smoker and when someone is right outside the door smoking, I get a face full of smoke when walking in or out of the building. I noticed an envelope in the room I stayed in was for tipping the housekeeper. It seems to me that a tip would be for services provided. However, during the four nights I was there, no one came in to remove the trash. Fresh towels, which I did not need, were left, so why didn't they take the trash? Also, there was hair on the dresser and fingernail clipping on the floor. The shelf above the safe was dusty and the paint on the ceiling in the bathroom was peeling off. Why were the police at the hotel detaining someone and searching their vehicle?

First off let me say the Staff was Superb Ms.Tina YOU ARE More than AMAZING!!!!!! We are gonna miss you! Millet,Neil the new young lady with the red hair I didn’t get her name ouuu and the house keepers and laundry staff Ms.Tiffany,Ms.Tracy, Ms.Carolyn Ms.R (laundry)and Ms. Lawanda you ladies made our stay and the red roof inn plus feel like home! All the hard work and dedication you ladies put into your work doesn’t go unnoticed and it’s WELL APPRECIATED! Thank you all for the hospitality we went thru 2 hurricanes together even without power you all still made our stay FANTASTIC! YALL became family and we are gonna miss you guys! Thank yall so much for your hard work! Ms Jo your whole staff needs a raise!

Ms Jo needs to learn how to talk to people i understand sometimes things are overwhelming and you try your best to accommodate everyone but it’s your tone and how you come off aggressive I am a guest and I paid for my 2 month stay so talk with respect

Perfect location for places we wanted to explore. Fairly cheaper than surrounding hotels. No breakfast, but they did offer coffee in the lobby. The beds were listed as 2 queens. It was more like 2 full beds. The room was rather tiny.

The floors could use a good cleaning. We had to leave our shoes on or else our feet turned black from the dirty floors. Make sure to bring a pair of slippers you don't mind throwing into the garbage as you leave. The pool was closed. We weren't notified when it opened as check-in told us they would notify all guests. No commendations were made since the pool was closed. We booked this hotel so the kids would have a pool to enjoy. Paid in advance and there is no refund or else I would have found a hotel with a functional pool.

Mrs Jo and Mrs Tina are always amazing at the front desk they always welcome you with a smile 😊 and the night shift is also awesome Mrs Chanel and Neil always checks on me and my family making sure our stay is comfortable YOU ALL ARE AMAZING THANKS FOR THE HOSPITALITY !❤️😊 I can’t forget the house keeping staff those lady are Rocking it at The REDROOF INN Mrs Tracy ,Mrs Tiffany and Mrs Sandy y’all keep this place looking and smelling good ITS ALWAYS A POSITIVE VIBE

There’s only one elevator that works and I wish there was another floor for laundry

The staff was super friendly and check-in and our room was very nice. Plenty of space. Had a corner work area which I didn't need, but it would be nice if I did. Went to a show at Daily's Place and it was an easy trip. Also pretty close to Kravegan which was amazing.

The bed. I honestly don't even know where you could purchase pillows as hard as those. The best comparison I could come up with was may a memory foam pillow while it's still compressed before opening it. I can not possibly describe how uncomfortable those pillows were. If you are driving, bring your own pillow.

When we check in the Lady on the front desk wasn’t friendly at all ! First we had to wait for her to come to the front desk . 2 . She didn’t even move her mouth to speak to us . Couldn’t hear her or understand her ! She look it miserable! People like her shouldn’t be working on hotels front desk ! When you check in on a hotel the last thing you want is people with her attitude! For me that’s not professional! Hired people that wants to work not people that are there just to get paid !

I arrived late on Aug 7th. Then on Tues I wasn't feeling well si I called t front desk spoke with Millet. Explained what was happening she contacted 911 for me 10 minutes later Jacksonville fire and rescue arrived took me down to ambulance did an EKG an I had a heart attack. From that initial interaction with Millet to the Jacksonville members to Memorial hospital er, the cardiologist I was saved. If not for the quick accurate care I received I would not be here today. I want to thank everyone involved with my care. Praise God for giving me a new lease on life.

I have not one complaint the facilities at this site are exceptional.

This is the best value of any hotel in the area! Very nice clean rooms for a pet friendly hotel. Staff was awesome. They expertly cared for a max capacity occupancy during the hurricane milton event.

Many rooms were not fully cleaned until 500 PM or later. My room wasn't ready until 500 pm. However, it was very clean and fresh smelling when I moved in. I'm sure the staff were trying their best to care for the full house.

The location was perfect for the weekend visit. There was plenty of food choices and shopping as well, The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Ms. Mallet in the front office was super kind and makes good morning coffee.

The only issue I had was due to my mistake. I put myself in a pet friendly room and myself and my sister both have allergies to most animals. But once I addressed it with the front desk she very quickly changed our rooms. The problem was solved!

Location , surrounding stores and restaurants curb appeal of the property was beautiful. Staff was professional .

There was work being done on the roof till 9:00pm at night ! and also after a long day of traveling I had to wake up early in the morning because maintenance had to clean all the filters of all the acs in the building and it was very early in the morning and the maintenance guys did not clean up after themselves . While I can appreciate the work being done the time these task started m/ended was just inconvenient .
