The lodge is perfectly located to enjoy all that Frankenmuth has to offer on foot, and the ownership has gone above and beyond to provide an enjoyable family get away, adding small details that add to experience, such as the peacock pen by the covered bridge.
The bed was comfortable for a traditional spring mattress, but did give both my wife and I a sore back. The pillows while plentiful were also not the best quality. The toilet seats were cheap. And there was quite a bit of visible dirt around the rooms central air vent on the ceiling in the middle of the room. The food quality at Oma’s restaurant also left a little to be desired, especially for the price.

Always love coming here! I wish there was more parking or even just a shuttle on the weekends that can drive the the elderly to the main doors. It is a long walk for them having to park way in the back lot and walk up with suitcases, an umbrella, etc.
The check in line. I know it was opening weekend when we came and we didn't have to wait that long for as long as the line was but roughly 45 min or so. The adult only pool is so tiny. I almost feel like that should just turn into a cool bar section. I know the new part has a swim up bar but this one can just be a bar with maybe 10-12 tables / music/ adults only/ finger foods

always comfortable and relaxing stay
there seemed to be a few new baseball diamonds added very close to Bavarian inn blast, there was a soft ball tournament or something that weekend that caused a swarm of teenage girls to be pretty much everywhere all hours of the day and night. I definitely feel that there wasn't a lot of regulation of the kids from their own adults outside of the Bavarian inn blast water zone. am I still coming again? of course , but definitely checking for week days and not a sporty season haha

Our bed and pillows were comfortable. The game room had plenty to do. Pools were clean. They had more thibgs to do now like Lazer tag and a rope course. My 6 year old wasn't interested but I could see this is great for Taking families with kids all ages. They have the family lounge open to purchase drinks, both alcohol and non alcohol options. We felt they had a nice variety of draft/craft beers. They have food here too, but we ate at a restaurant up stairs.
Wish there was more seating by the pools, it was a full capacity night, there wasn't many places to sit and watch your young kids In the pool. We ate at Omas, food was good, it did seem to take the servers a long time, I think they were doing Omas and the bar area next door. We were not upset, just feet bad they were running all over. Other customers were upset about how long it was taking for waiters to check back in though.

We stay here quite a bit and always love our stays. even with the construction going on everything was great and as clean as can be. everyone you deal with is extremely friendly and helpful. the newer arcade and prize area are amazing, and the kids loved the rope climbing set up, it would be nice for a better price for that though. our only complaint we have about Bavarian Inn is the beds. they need an upgrade for sure. When charging the rates they do i should expect a good night's sleep on a comfy bed. other than that, we are pleased as always and will most certainly be back in the future.

Friendly staff, clean facility. The complimentary coffee/tea in the lobby is much nicer than those dingy machines most hotels have in the room. Great water pressure in the shower.
The walls in the room are paper thin. We heard our neighbours talking and watching tv..etc. We were very aware that they could hear us as well, which made me uneasy. Incredibly slow service both in room and in restaurant. Our signature drink took half an hour to get to our table, and they were both missing key ingredients. The naughty snowman had no fugde rim, and the almond joyful was practically a shot (in volume). The glass was nearly empty like it had spilled or been drunk. They were very disappointing for $14 drinks. Dinner took an hour and a half, and the restaurant had 5 tables.

Everything was so close with plenty of sidewalks, etc to get everywhere. Huge selection of stores for shopping, places to eat. The Golden Ticket Trolley was wonderful and the guide was just Fabulous! So much fun. The shops inside the Bavarian Inn Lodge had a huge variety of items, I was able to get a couple of Christmas gifts there. Staff was great, very friendly and helpful.
I stayed in the tower part which was right beside where they are building the huge waterpark, so it was quite dusty and noisy from that (hotel gave us earplugs). And not enough parking space due to construction. It will be wonderful for families after it is finished, which is supposed to be yet i

Loved the comfortable king sized bed and the theme of the hotel. Check in staff was very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to covered bridge and downtown. Educational bits on the television was extremely informative. Enjoyed the spa and the pool.
Small bathroom, body wash by sink outside the shower to use to wash hands, Brochure stated that arcade was free for one hour each day only to find out that you had to buy a card for a dollar to play. Wasn't stated anywhere, had to find out from another hotel guest. Towels by hot tub would have been nice. Parking lot was full on a Thursday evening. Wish hot cocoa was offered along with the coffee bar for those of us that don't drink coffee.

The room was exceptionally clean! (The management is to be commended on the cleanliness and start training other hotel managers!) The bed was super comfortable with high quality sheets. Because we were there on a Sunday night, the construction crews were not present till the next morning. Dinner was just okay, in my opinion, due to just fast food downstairs. Monday morning breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
Signage! Lack of sign directing me to the office. I had to ask other travelers where the office was. I then had to walk from one entrance to the office entrance with my cane. Distances inside the hotel to the restaurant from where our room was was in the wing near the Water Park were substantial with a number of corners.

The rooms had everything we needed, beds were comfortable and shower was nice (included soaps). The pools were very nice and in good condition. The arcade was clean with many options. The best part in all of this was the staff. From the front desk, lifeguards at all pools, Oma's, cleaning staff, arcade, Build-a-Bear, etc.... everyone was engaging, courteous, kind and helpful!
Some pool water wasn't as clean as it should've been in the outside pool (in my opinion).
