Overlooks the Hauptsrasse of the Miracle Mile. Spacious with two hi-back chairs and foot stools. Decoration of the room was excellent. My partner and I disagree as to the comfort level of the bed. The bathroom exceeded my expectations; partner declared it gorgeous; I rated its functionality as very good (double doors, night light, walk-in shower had both fixed head AND hand-held head, extra towels, closet with moveable baggage rack, moveable hangers, hooks, large vanity area around sink, adequate plugs for appliances, more than adequate lighting, height of toilet adequate for mobility-impaired) Room functions included: thermostat was easily found and readable; lamps (3) had switches that could be found easily and were adequate for reading; each side of the bed had a multi-port USB charging outlet; coffee maker was a K-cup with excellent selection; ice bucket could accommodate 2ea 12-oz cans. Room was clean - no orders, floor immaculate, bathroom, outstanding, expendables (tissues, toilet paper) had back up inventory. Check-in/out was seamless.

No personnel on-site; a call to the “eMail”-ed number confirmed local help was “available” in case of emergent issues. Floor texture was slippery when wet. This occurred because there is no sill on the walk-in shower. An in-room refrigerator would have been useful. The ice machine needs a scoop.

It was charming, a lot of thought put into the touches and decorations of the place. We really appreciated the extra attention touches included in the room- the keureg machine, the multi-usb chargers, the dark makeup towel is genius. We were delighted with the decor of the room, the mirrored touches and the super fun sink vanity. The cushy sitting chairs and ottoman were perfect places to sit and read. Outside, the gas lamps and railing and outdoor chairs just make the place so charming. We were also thankful for the hospitality room. A cozy cup of tea at night was just the thing ❤️. Also, it was a contactless checkin and checkout. We did all communication by text so there was no problem with us arriving really late or anything. The contact was a quick response and everything was so well appointed we didn’t need to ask for anything during the stay.

Our room had an adjoining room door, and our neighbors were a bit noisy, mostly thru the door. Nothing terrible, but we noticed when they arrived and when they left as our stay was longer than theirs on both sides.

What first got my attention was the level of hospitable conversation about the stay, getting to the property, getting into the room, and other amenities. FIRST RATE! The room was gorgeous! It's classically understated but very tasteful, and very roomy. Everything was simply wonderful, including the free items in the hospitality room located on the property. It's a second-level property, but there is an easily accessible elevator to bring up luggage, etc. The location is perfect! Walk out the door and there are shops, restaurants, and local sights within easy walking distance!

Really couldn't ask for too much more ---

location cleanliness amenities staff… A BIG SHOUT OUT TO CAROL For greeting us when we arrived. We were coming from 2 hours away, and planned to do a little shopping and have lunch but just wanted to lay eyes on the hotel before check in. NOTE: there is no signage from the road so when the GPS said that we were here we couldn’t see it … we parked the car and started walking toward what we thought may be the hotel.. (Hint- its above the Cypress Grill.) LUCKILY! We ran into an angel named Carol and she helped us be prepared for the contactless check in that was going to happen via text message at 2 (check in at 3). She was super friendly and helpful. I absolutely encourage the hotel to give her a generous raise as she’s obviously doing more than cleaning the rooms - and happily takes on the extra role. Shes friendly, welcoming, describes in detail to guests how the check in process works, which is not instinctive - and easy to talk to! You never get a 2nd chance to make a 1st impression and it we had been left to wander around and reach out via other means to learn how to check in it would have been frustrating.. She saved us from having to do all that. We loved the hospitality suite where we could choose from a lovely selection of snack and a beverage after our long drive!!

not one thing other than lack of signage at eye level on the street!! maybe a sign on hospitality door explaining check in process (basically, wait for text message) in case Carol doesn’t catch you wandering around trying to figure it out!

It had a New Orleans vibe and a great location. Beautiful large room with comfortable bed. Close to shopping and dinning. Slightly different stay since there is no onsite staff, but they had a fully stocked snack room with coffee, tea, juices and sodas including in the price. Kurig coffee maker in rooom. Great price and value for such a pleasant room and location.

I enjoyed the entire stay and have recommended it to friends.

Felt very cozy, the location was great. The drive to La cantera was about 20 minutes so not bad since we spent most of our time around the area. Really loved the hospitality room and the quietness of the hotel.

The parking area at first threw us off but it was okay. Surprised room service was not a daily occurrence only after check out? She was available everyday though and super nice.

Lovely property, amazing location for Boerne, everything in walking distance. Only slight issue is the hotel book in process, a code should be sent to access the property, the hotel doesn’t have the facility to text none US numbers, we were only able to get access after calling after 3pm and speaking to the housekeeping staff.

Very clean, room was beautiful, perfect for the location and the additional room with snacks and drinks was a really nice touch.

Snack room & location

Toilet wasn’t working when we arrived. Told attendant Her comment was “ yea, one of the rooms toilet isn’t working good. You just lift up the tank lid & tap the thing inside”. I said “I’m suppose to do that”. She said , “oh, I guess I can do it”. For $200 a night I should be fixing the toilet. It did work after she “tapped” it

The hotel is lovely. There is no staff available. That made the stay a bit strange. There was a fully stocked lobby room with snacks and drinks. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious!

The gold bar lock on the door was broken . That made me feel unsafe. I pulled the desk over to block the door. The door goes directly to the outside. There is a combination lock on the door that was working.
