The view of the hills. The elegance of the property. The food and drinks. The “Clear Cosmopolitan” was delicious. We were so happy when we received a plate of chocolate covered strawberries as a gift for our anniversary from Tapatio Springs.

Minor problems in the room. The door for the toilet and shower did not close and didn’t clear fully over the floor, got stuck in some areas. My husband said he didn’t sleep well because of the noise from the small refrigerator in the room. No elevator. Other than that it was comfortable and had a balcony with a beautiful view.

The family pool was wonderful. My 3 yo repeatedly used the water slide. I loved that the water was no deeper than 4 feet. Tons of pool side games and ample loungers to use. Dinner was delicious. The kids pizzas were huge and the steak was one of the best I've ever had. I also loved the little patio off the room where I sat and watched the thunderstorm that came in the night we were there.

The rooms are definitely in need of a refresh but were still fine. Also was nervous that our patio sliding glass door didn't lock especially since we had our daughters with us.

For the price it went beyond my expectations. The room was incredibly comfortable and I love the little interior design touches to the room. The surrounding landscape is just absolutely beautiful and i like that we have easy access to the resort and the large outdoor fire pit areas. The staff were super friendly and accomodating. We forgot to order drinks for dinner from La Cascada restaurant so when we ordered it at dinner time, they even put the chocolate bars we got from the La Tienda on the house due to the wait!

Overall the experience was really good especially considering the price, however there were some minor issues. The sliding door in our room (414) didnt really lock so we were a bit concerned if someone could get in. In the bathroom the paint was peeling slightly at the bottom of the door.

The setting is beautiful. The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. It's a quiet, peaceful setting with a great family atmosphere. The room was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

The lighting in the room could have been a bit better.

We liked the temperature of the shower. I liked that there were two areas to use a mirror in the bathroom area. The view was amazing.

The pillows were not comfortable. Recommend bring your pillows. We took a night swim(due to not wanting to get too much sun during the day), and the pool was like a hot tub. I think we would have enjoyed ourselves a lot more had we visited in the fall or spring.

Rooms are outdated, but they were clean. The bar at the pool is a bit pricey, but the drinks are good. The price we paid was well worth it so we will be back.

I wished they offered a few more amenities, for instance, miniature golf or a lazy river other.

The pool area was beautiful and the location is just far enough to make you feel like you are getting away, but close enough not to have to go too far for a weekend escape.

The only complaint I have is that when we arrived at 11:00 am to enjoy breakfast, the had already moved onto lunch. We would have loved to have had brunch options, especially since it was a Sunday.

All of the staff, from the front desk, to the restaurant, to the pro shop, were very helpful and courteous. The rooms and the golf course could use a little sprucing up, but overall, the grounds are lovely. It is very convenient to Boerne with restaurants/shopping. Very relaxing stay.

Pillows. Perhaps provide different kinds of pillows so guests have a chance to find something that works for them.

Beautiful location. Nice pool area. Nice staff. Beds were comfortable but a little bit too soft for my liking… comfortable pillows and quilt. Rooms had a refrigerator but no microwave. Beautiful new clubhouse and restaurant.

No spa. No pool services during the week. No microwave in the room. Very small, hot tub by the pool . Bathroom a bit worn, but the rest of the room was updated.

Every day the golf rental place let us borrow clubs to “play” golf with our early riser toddler and it was the highlight of the trip for him.

Restaurant was a let down and the scheduled activities were hit or miss, could use a little more programming, especially for the movie nights, like some bean bag chairs and popcorn and cocoa or something .
