Loved the front desk. Were very helpful with my needs and when the shift changed, they just let each other know what I had asked for and it was ready.

2 things. The AC did not have an option to keep the fan on, so when it reached its temperature, it immediately turned off, so it went from cold to hot in about a minute. The other thing was the breakfast. It was done as a restaurant and service was extremely slow. The waitress was nice, but not really good with the drinks. Both days, did not bring out the beverages until after the brought the meal.

I loved how the room was quiet; I did not have to worry about any loud neighbors. The maid service was friendly and always smiling, which made me feel very comfortable, as it was my home away from home. Marvelous!

I did not like not having a scenic view. I was also disappointed with the restaurant service, as I was not waited on initially. Fortunately, the front desk person intervened and went to the kitchen to see what was happening. However, when my meal arrived, it was not cooked through, and the waitress never checked on me. In fact, the only times I saw her were when the food was delivered and when it was time for payment. I only hope this was not something personal.

Parking was easy. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. There was only one wait staff on the first morning we went down for breakfast and every table was full - poor thing was a bit overwhelmed. We sat at the high-top and were told at first we couldn't sit there. Then someone else came along and took our order and we were able to stay where we were. Another family came in and had the same issue. The good thing was that several front desk teammates came over and helped with the crowd. Breakfast was very good - fresh and warm.

We were hoping to use the pool, but the water was super cold and we couldn't get in. Since it wasn't heated, that was unfortunate. This was even after a very warm day with temps in the upper 80's.

Mostly quiet especially during the week. Exceptionally clean and fresh.

Location off of Frontage road is convenient yet dense traffic due to construction, during busy traffic times. No grocery close by. Eateries limited to Whataburger and Tia’s Taco Hut. Dining in hotel available which I regret not trying.

Good breakfast great staff hotels very clean and quiet.

The gated parking areas or gated, but I never did see the arms down so anybody could’ve walked in there and still mess with the vehicles. I saw two trucks with windows knocked out. I’d like to see an armed guard on site combing the property. Doubletree makes enough money to support a security guard.

Angel at the front desk was incredible! So kind and attentive! The room was nice and clean! Cookies were great. Loved the gated parking! Great spacious room. Totally enjoyed my stay!

Breakfast was free so I really shouldn’t complain! Staff weren’t working the hostess stand. Food took a long time. The avocado toast I ordered featured un-toasted bread and overall could’ve used some seasoning.

The cleaning team coming in my room every day. That is not usual now days since COVID. Plus the clean crew without checking threw away my daughter's gift for her friends birthday because they just threw bags away that were in my room. I will definitely next time make sure that no one is allowed to enter my room unless I ask them to.

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to University of Texas at San Antonio Main Campus . However the secure parking and the excellent breakfasts as well as the super attentive staff were additional significant “likes” for me as well.

The “Enomatic” wine dispenser (just as George the barman) lol . Seriously though there was nothing to dislike about this hotel

Gym, fresh and new. Very friendly and attentive staff

The a/c system didn’t allow for continuous fan. It toggled on and off so vacillated between too hot and too cold at night. Also the shower fixture design is dreadful - can’t tell where is hot / cold

I liked how nice the staff where Ashley and Jessica customer service was exceptional! They even offered some sound advice/ recommendations for me and my family to experience

The internet could’ve have been better but was not poor
