Beautiful location in the Hill Country, stunning views and well kept grounds. Staff were very friendly, always smiling and talking to our kids. Made everyone feel right at home. Prices at the resort for food and drinks are reasonable and there are plenty of options so you really don’t need to leave the resort.

Daily cleaning service was not thorough at all, floors were still dirty after they had been there and supplies (soap, toilet paper, coffee) had not been restocked.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The golf course was great and overall just a nice get away.

We felt the valet staff could of been friendlier and more accommodating. They didn't open doors and on one occasion passed up elderly guests who were walking back to the hotel from the parking lot as they passed them by in the golf cart. It was cold and rainy that day and we feel it would have been the nice thing to do. As the first point of contact when guests arrive they are part of the whole experience and it would be nice to bevgreeted in a friendly manner.

We liked absolutely everything about the property! The cleanliness was immaculate. The customer service was off the charts. Absolutely everybody worked as a team to make sure our stay was perfect! They definitely set the tone for a relaxation weekend! Hats off to Scott our luggage handler his knowledge of the property was so helpful and his personality and professionalism and willing to go out of his way for us was what you call SUPERB!!! Thank you again to everyone!!

No complaints at all.

We were thrilled with floor SEVEN. The adults only perks are well worth it. The whole place is beautiful and there is shopping and restaurants right down the road if you don't want to eat on site. We were there for our anniversary and a birthday trip, the reservations staff surprised us with a treat.

Expensive.

I loved that each morning in the main building of the Villa there were breakfast pastries and that there was also the convenience of grabbing a beverage or item from the bar area and having it just added to our room. Our first night we ate at Sweetfire Kitchen and while the main courses were delicious I especially enjoyed their cornbread appetizer, it was very very good. The spa was absolutely phenomenal from the staff to the Quenche bar down below and the food and beverage options it offered. Staff were consistently around the infinity pool area checking on guests and making sure needs for beverages or food were met as well as taking away food/beverage trash. The shops on property were various as well as many food options within it. Definitely want to pack sunscreen and water with you and wear comfortable shoes for walking around. If interested in the restaurents there, booking a reservation before heading over is probably a solid move. We ate at Whiskey Cake and the food and atmosphere was very good. Restaurant was a little warm but that might've been due to the high amount of people in there at the time we ate.

The details about the shuttle were a bit confusing and while we knew that the Resort entrance was where to go for one there wasn't a set wait station area specifically for the Shuttle. Same went for the shops area, a general area where they would pick us up but nowhere specifically designated as Shuttle boarders waiting.

Buffet breakfast awesome. Loved the golf course, but if you stay at resort - you should get some kind of discount - a bit pricey overall comparted to other courses of its standing. Love the adult pool but needs more staff to serve the customers.

Room was very nice but the sheets on the bed were not very comfortable at all - very stiff and scratchy.

Each meal/snack poolside menu and service were wonderful. The pool attendants were very friendly and timely. The spa service was excellent. The valet was first rate and efficient. Lastly, the front desk staff were a joy to work with and provided the best service imaginable!

San Antonio record heat and humidity that week

We originally booked 2 nights, we extended our stay for another 2 nights. We played golf 3 evenings, great golf course! All staff were so polite and friendly. The pool areas were good, you have enough space to not be all sat on top of each other! We ate at two different restaurants in the hotel and they were both amazing!! Again staff were amazing! The staff that checked us in were outstanding!! The resort it’s self is very big, we got lost a few times! But everyone we asked for directions they were all more than willing to help :) Our room was big, our balcony was lovely. We had a view of the courtyard part which was nice :)

The only thing I can complain about is when we were out playing golf I needed to use a restroom. We played twilight so near hole 14/15 they had restrooms, I couldn’t actually use them as it was pitch black and had no lights. Think this needs to be looked into, just a little light needs to be put in there!!

small boutique feel in the villas. overall lovely grounds , excellent location, having a golf cart to get around property and go the main hotel a PLUS! lots for kids and family. numerous choices for food and recreation. even a nature visit with a python and a falcon. very interactive on a small scale. perfect weekend get away !

was a little pricey and is located next to 6 Flags and Fiesta Texas ( a plus if you are going there but beware of TRAFFIC. !

we have stayed here for the last 20 years and have always enjoyed it

only complain I have is that we went for the Easter weekend and when we wanted to make reservations for the brunch we were told it was full. on Sunday morning we noticed large numbers of people leaving after the brunch and went back to the restaurant and asked if guests were not given a preference and I was told NO. that was a big disappointment to hear and should immediately be corrected.
