We recently stayed at this fantastic boutique hotel by the seaside and loved it! With its own private beach and a stunning view, it was a perfect getaway. The interior is stylish, and the rooms are well-equipped and sound-proof, so it's very peaceful. The garden is beautifully designed in Greek style, offering a comfy place to relax. We enjoyed drinks at the beach bar and found plenty of spots to unwind. The service is top-notch, with a super helpful and friendly team. The hotel is great for both families and couples—our daughters felt like a queens! Parking is nearby, and the street is lovely for walks. The food was so delicious we didn’t want to eat anywhere else. The hotel owner’s creative touch is felt everywhere, making our stay memorable… We've already booked our next visit. Highly recommended!

It looks exactly like on the pictures and beyond our expectations!!!! The bar-restaurant is open all day and you can eat international food (perfect for children) and take drinks all day in your room, in the restaurant or at the beach, you choose! The service is great, the staff are friendly and helpful. The interior is modern and fresh. The room is clean with a breathtaking view. The breakfast is great too. A sun chair is included. There is a free parking for the hotel. A real paradise spot in Palio!!!! Highly recommended!

The hotel is newly renovated in a modern style. Very nice, extremely clean with everything you need. The Nespresso coffee machine in the room was a bonus. The bed was so comfortable we were struggling to get up in the morning :D Every room is overlooking the beach. The view from our room was stunning. The breakfast was tasty and everything was fresh! The hotel staff were beyond kind and helpful! They were always checking if we need anything and how is our stay going. The bar staff were also very nice and friendly. They were always there if we need anything. The beach was clean. It’s a very family friendly place! Best experience ever!!!

Great location next to a nice beach with sunbeds included. Also great view from the balcony. Decent breakfast offering.

A bit confusing with the sunbeds connected to the hotel.. We asked to put stuff on a tab on our room, but that seemed hard for the staff. The service level was pretty low due to difficulty of getting attention and also miscommunications..

Everything. Extreme good value for money. We just wanted two chill days with not to many people. Beautiful boutique hotel 20 min from busy Kavala. Lovely decorated rooms, nice bed, amazing views, very nice beach and clear water, great breakfast. We ate dinner one night at the hotel which was very good as well. Really nice staff as well. This place should have at least 4 stars. So much better than many other places in Greece mainland.

Small thing but the pillows are quit large and ”high”, would also be nice with a duvet and duvet cover instead of flat sheet and bedspread. Easy fixes.

The front desk staff were amazing. However, the employee who worked later in the evening was phenomenal. Very attentive, quick to answer and fulfill requests. She was extremely helpful and very friendly. There was also one wait staff who was also very personable and talkative with us. The younger staff running drinks were quiet and one was a little rude. However, for the most part it was ok and wouldn’t deter us from staying here again. We enjoyed our stay and would choose this hotel again. The breakfast was amazing; many choices and very delicious.

Excellent! The hotel is located on the beach and is ideal for families with small children. This year it was renovated and everything is done with good taste and with a superior quality! Kind staff, varied breakfast and the location is wonderful.

It would be wonderful if, in the case of families with children, the cleaning of the room could be done in the first part of the day, not after two o'clock, when they can sleep

The view was amazing, the whole peoperty was like an isolated oasis from the rest of accomodations in this part of Greece. The beach was the best asset - sandy breach, no rocks, clear waters and views of Thasos island. Close to Kavala to hop for a quick dinner or lunch.

So we were there for 1 week and some things stood out as a bit of negatives: - The rooms were not cleaned much, kinda sloppy - Our room was old, unlike on the pictures, with broken furniture and appliances, mold in the bathroom... etc - The restaurant is unreliable, it is more of a beach club & bar: too few options and no seafood ! However it was delicious, compliments to the kitchen - Although we had an amazing beach and views, I feel it was pricey - Parking a car is a big problem so be sure to walk 5mins to you car

OMG, how could we award them with 11 points on booking.com :-). Hotel Akti Kavala (which means coastline) offers everything you need for your perfect holidays! Nice and cosy rooms, a private beach, beach bar, a wonderful restaurant (they also put regional products on the menu (for example coffee and beer). The breakfast is great and they try to offer everyday something new. Wonderful helpful staff - a real recommendation!!

First of all all the staff was helping and serving at their best. This was valid for all (from the owner Ms Pelin to all people working at the hotel) Its location was wonderful. We were here before covid in 2019; what I noticed is that the management quality of the hotel has improved a lot. I hope we will come back again latest next season. Everthing can furyher be improved o course; but I have no spesific remark to make. Not a big problem but absense of an dedicated autopark (because of the location of the hotel) a point to mention but there is always a nearby parking possibility on the nearby streets at a walking distance.
