Fantastic location—just steps from the city center and transportation hub. Only 30 minutes from the airport, and the hotel is right nearby. Filtered water is available downstairs, and you’re welcome to take it up to your room. Everything was well thought out. Arriving late? No problem—you’ll receive clear instructions on how to access your key. Raining outside? Grab one of communal umbrellas positioned conveniently near the exit. The room included a Nespresso machine with three coffee pods, sugar, and milk. The kitchen was reasonably well-stocked, and impressively, the knives were actually sharp—a rare find in apartment hotels. Additional amenities included an iron with ironing board and a hair dryer. The room was quiet, making for peaceful and relaxing mornings. It was fairly basic, but very functional, which was exactly what I was looking for.

If I had to point out one minor criticism, it would be that the bed mattresses were a bit on the thin side and could be more comfortable. That said, it wasn’t a major issue—I still got a good night’s sleep, and it barely registered as a concern.

The room was very functional. It had ventilation and air conditioning - so it was always comfy to be inside. Our room had access to the backyard, which was perfect for our 2 year old child. Fresh water was available for free in the lobby. Parking was very convenient and spacious. We managed to get our bulky car in and out without issues. Even if we had some issues or concerns - the staff was very polite and helpful. Managed to assist and answer all our questions.

Just another pair of thinner pillows would be a nice touch. The ones in the room were not comfy for us.

The Hotel is comfortable, clean, and conveniently located. Just bordering the city center, a few steps from tram and buses (which are free in Luxembourg), with easy connections to the airport and, really, everywhere. If location is a priority this hotel is a solid choice. It has a fitness center and a shared laundry room with washing and drying machines, which we did not use. They offered us private parking, which we did not use either. Luxembourg can be an expensive city and we feel this hotel offers good value for the money.

There is no on-site restaurant or bar, (but there are plenty options nearby, full or fast service). The beds were hard. Even though we did not care, the reception has limited hours, it does not work 24 hrs, it could be something to consider, if you need a late check-in.

I had an outstanding experience at Domus Hotel in Luxembourg. The location is absolutely exceptional – right in the heart of the city, close to everything you could possibly need: shops, restaurants, historical sites, and public transport. Despite its central setting, the hotel is very quiet and peaceful. The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas was truly impressive – everything was spotless and well-maintained, which made the stay even more comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-quality stay in Luxembourg City

The location is very convenient. Bus stop is right outside the hotel and tram stops are less than 5 mins away. Walkable distance to center square, supermarkets and eateries. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They took the time to show us around the room and explained all the details. Rooms are cleaned and tidy. Kitchenette has all the utensils we need. Bathroom is big and spacious.

A phone in the room for travelers to make local calls so that IDD roaming costs will not be incurred. Any help outside of reception hours need to make via phone call. For overseas travelers, this will incur IDD and roaming call charges.

Good location near the centre in Haute-Ville. Easy-to-understand instructions for late-check-in (although in the end we arrived early and didn't need them). The air-conditioning was effective and quiet. On a longer stay the kitchen-appliances would have been useful.

The welcome at the reception was very long and included a tour of the room, which was unnecessary in my opinion. There were quite a lot of instructions about what not to do -- maybe a bit too much. I would have preferred a carpet in the room rather than linoleum (personal taste?).

Without a doubt, this is the finest hotel I've ever experienced. My work trip to Luxembourg led me to this absolute gem. The location is simply perfect, with easy access to public transportation and the city center just around the corner. The room was incredibly well-designed, offering everything I needed and more. The breathtaking view, impeccable security, and pristine cleanliness added to the overall exceptional experience. I extend my sincerest gratitude to the friendly and helpful reception staff. Their willingness to accommodate our request for a high-floor room and early check-in was truly appreciated, especially after a long journey. Their kindness and generosity in providing a city map and valuable tourist tips were above and beyond. I couldn't be happier with my stay. Ingenious location in the very center of the city. The hotel has its own garage, which is invaluable if you have bicycles with you. It's good to know that the entrance to the garage is in the same building as the hotel (so you don't accidentally enter the underground public garage in front of the hotel). The hotel has excellent accommodation units, spacious with a kitchen and everything necessary for a pleasant stay. Free city transportation is an added plus for this city, because as long as you are in the city, you no longer need your car.

Friendly & helpful staff who took time to explain everything. Lovely to have little snacks left in the room and the free filtered drinking water at reception is excellent. Very clean and cleaned well during my stay. Excellent location, 2 minute walk to shops, cafes, etc but didn’t hear a sound at night. Also a 2 minute walk from the bus stop which is so handy for the (free) airport bus. Honesty Bar is a nice touch. Bed very comfortable.

Needs a full length mirror in the room. My room had a balcony which you wouldn’t be using in winter but I noticed that it is a shared balcony with two other rooms which is a bit strange and would lack any privacy during the summer months.

Central, conveniently located. Attractive building, easy to find. Room was good size with lots of amenities and the bathroom especially was spotless. I really liked the 2 guys at reception, very friendly and helpful. Of them, I know the manager is Charles but I can’t remember the name of the fella who seemed more likely to be the receptionist. We had a great stay in Luxembourg, where we used to live many moons ago so thanks to the hotel Domus and all who sail with her!😁

I had requested a room with 2 single beds but the room was set up with a double. I booked thru rooms.ie and I think that request didn’t transfer across from the app to the hotel, as looking back the final hotel confirmation did not mention no. of beds. If I were to do this again I would call the Domus if any details were omitted from the hotel’s booking confirmation. In any case they happily facilitated this requirement in 10 mins . So not a dislike of the hotel but of Rooms.ie.
