Staff (who were there)were so friendly & helpful . Location of hotel was great. We stayed in apartments they were warm , clean and comfortable . A great choice with family . leisure centre was great too . Food at Dinner & breakfast was lovely

There seemed to be a few staffing issues either they were under staffed or a lot of new staff as things weren’t running smoothly which led to a bit of a delay at different times over weekend but the staff we dealt with couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful they were all most definitely doing their very best & genuinely wanted everyone to thoroughly enjoy their stay , which we most definitely did in this great hotel & apartments 😃

The hotel is in a great location. The staff were pleasant to deal with. The pool was nice. We stayed in an apartment which had a great space, especially with kids. Housekeeping were quick to come when called. Overall we had a good stay, we've stayed before and we will stay again.

The food in the restaurant was average. On the night we ate there, the service was slow. It was a bank holiday, so I appreciate this. We did have a few millipedes on the bedrooms. I understand that these come when the weather is poor, but it was a little off-putting, and my daughter was afraid of the ones that moved. When I mentioned it to reception, housekeeping did come quickly to clear.

Arrived late afternoon after a stormy day and was greeted so warmly and even upgraded to a room facing the water. The staff were so friendly, the room was very comfortable and the large bath very welcomed. Location was beautiful and easy to find on the main road. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel looks renovated. Nice views onto the bay from the hotel entrance. Room clean and spacious enough. Good mattress.

We asked the hotel staff where we can have dinner in the town - we wanted to see local places and just be outside, as we only had an evening and the next day early morning in the town. The receptionist said nowhere really, so we stayed in the hotel for dinner. Then we went for a pint after dinner we saw the New Heaven restaurant just 50 m away from the hotel. Full with people. Serving food. We were disappointed. I hope it was not intentional to not tell us about the place. Check out the nearby Hackett’s bar for a pint and the Nicki’s cafe for breakfast.

Great location in the middle of Schull. Rooms are very clean, bright and spacious. We didn’t book a sea view room but there was still a nice view of the hills behind the hotel. Accommodation staff were lovely and friendly.

When we arrived our room wasn’t ready and the lady on reception wasn’t in the slightest bit apologetic. She just flippantly told us accommodation was busy. She left for the day shortly afterwards and her replacement was much more pleasant to deal with. The bar and restaurant area are quite cold and sterile and weren’t very inviting. We didn’t use these facilities at all.

The breakfast was fantastic...crepes and porridge...were not on the menu....and when we asked for these...no problem...making it for us... The lunch and dinner also fantastic...loved it all.

A fridge in our room would have been brilliant Also the shower in the bath was not suitable for my elderly mother.

The location is just perfect. It is right at Schull Harbour, so we just crossed the road and were in the beautiful Schull Harbours facilities. Additionally, the structure of the self-catering apartment is perfect for a family; we had everything that we needed.

We had a terreo apartment; so there was not much sun or light coming in. Also, the hair dryer didn't work, but the girl in the reception didn't seem concern to provide a solution.

This hotel is absolutely perfect, it has all the facilities of a big hotel in a lovely smaller hotel with amazing views of Schull harbour and out to the islands. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. We'll certainly be back.

We booked in booking.com and realised afterwards that the hotel website had rooms for much better prices. We'll be checking their website in future for deals.

Lovely view, comfy beds, convenient parking and clean appartment. It was quiet at night and we slept well. It’s generally well equipped for self catering.

We stayed in appartment 8, which we understand has been recently refurbished - presumably by someone tall. It needs the following: Grab rails to get in and out the shower plus non slip mat. The bath sides are unusually high and this is currently dangerous for short / less mobile people. Side plates. Towel rails / hooks on doors. Would also benefit from: Pictures / mirrors etc on walls. Cushions. Black out curtains A lower microwave - it’s so high it’s not really usable. There was no welcome pack - we usually find tea coffee milk biscuits and sometimes more when we stay in self catering. But here there is nothing.

Warm welcome at friendly, efficient check in. Very spacious room with really comfortable bed and goid linen. Yummy fresh baked chocolate cookies beside coffee maker with good range of teas and coffees. Safe in large wardrobe as well as iron and board. Fantastic water pressure and large dispensers for toiletries (and shower caps etc.) Pool was lovely and breakfast was good value. Lovely location overlooking Schull Harbour and close to walk to and from shops and restaurants. Beside carpark. Will definitely stay here again.

One small cover missing off toilet flush panel on wall but just cosmetic as everything worked perfectly. No recycling bin in room for paper or plastic. Fan noise vaguely in the background at times from somewhere else in buildi g or neighbouring building.
