It’s a nice hostel for one night. Towels were a nice surprise. The rooms are big, so as the common area with basically everything you need.
No curtain for beds, i had one next to the window, so at least didnt see other people, but then it became too cold and I had to make a curtain out of the second blanket. My experience was not very positive also because of the group of ladies, who were super noisy in the evening, talking and laughing after 11pm (quiet time) and then woke up at 3am! turned on the light and started packing their stuff, talking and laughing. There were 15 people in the room, sleeping at 3am, but they’ve decided that backpack should be packed right there right now. Place emphasise this to people during check in that backpacks should be taken to the common area while packing!!

Your satisfaction with this place will depend on how many people are staying and your level of extraversion. The place can accommodate 54 people. The place was half full when we stayed and that worked great. I feel like the common areas cannot really accommodate that 54 people though. Especially considering how everyone gets in and out at about the same time for the Camino. We stayed in private rooms and it was nice, quiet, and dark. There is a little store where they have frozen bread, croissants and pizza. The person working the front desk can cook them for you. Pay strict attention to the hours.
A little bit away from the town but definitely walkable. The hours for the little store were not great. And the lady gave us an impression that she stayed later than the hours indicated but she did not.

This is a huge mixed dorm with many beds inside. No curtains on the beds. Separate bathrooms for women and men and quite spacious, kitchen and kinda of living room. Close you will find supermarket, places to eat. In the kitchen there is a coffee and snack machine, too. One get a locker ( works with 1 € coin) The bedsheets were clean but old. The place is right on the camino. In general, the place is ok, quite basic but has everything and functional. Take your earplugs with you as if someone is snoring, you will be screwed as it a huge open space.
More “industrial” and functional place with no nice touch

WOW. Just WOW! This place is amazing. It's beautifully decorated, clean, welcoming ... everything you would want in a hostel and more. It began raining as soon as we arrived, and we were just too exhausted to go out and find a spot for dinner. We got a delicious pizza right there at the hostel and enjoyed it as we did our laundry! The hosts are so friendly and kind. It was a perfect place to rest along the Camino. I highly recommend this awesome place. Thank you!

O Pedron is in the "beginning" of Camino when you arrive in Padron. The Albergue has all you need (comfortable beds, enough space to accommodate your bag, a kitchen to prepare your meal, and a social area to talk and relax). You will definitely will have a good rest there before heading to your next stop.
Nothing on the Albergue side. be careful if you plan to be there on Mondays, almost all bars/restaurants around Pedron are closed. So maybe you will need an extra walk to find something open.

Easy to find- right off the Camino Route. Helpful front desk- has everything you need.
Private room, but the place was still noisy. Thin doors? The bathroom was clean but the entire ladies bathroom floor was wet the whole time- bring shower shoes! Bed was uncomfortable, but for the price I expected it not to be luxurious. Check out time-8:30am.

Firstly the staff were amazing. The manager and the 2 staff members who I interacted with were so friendly (despite language barrier). I told the man at breakfast I loved the tarte and he brought me another one. Just so many nice little ways in which they made us feel welcome and attended to. The place is beautiful and only a 5 minute walk from the market and town area, but with the bonus of being a nice quiet street. There is an aldi round the corner. Excellent value for money. Garden is beautiful and so nice you can have breakfast out there.
Nothing. It was all great.

Clean, modern, bright and with a generous lounge area, clean and well plumbed bathrooms, very useable kitchen. Dining area a bit shabby (probably better not to have placemats than to have stained ones).
Needs more signage on the Camino trail to find it, and it’s a bit far from the centre of Padron when one has walked 25k already.

Early in the season so had a 12 bed room to myself. On the Camino route. Towels and cotton bed sheets supplied. Had walked 35kms and didnt want to go out to eat so bought a pizza from the lady and she cooked it for me.
A kettle in the kitchen would have been nice so I could have used a tea bag that I'd brought with me.

The scale of this albergue is good, it's spacious and has a nice living area. There are plenty of showers and the towel is included.
the kitchen is a little small, something to be mindful of during peak times. The albergue is a about a 5-10 minute walk from the old town, but there are good supermarkets nearby.
