This is a small little hotel right off the Camino trail. It is basic and fine for a last stop before Santiago. But what made this property shine was the owner. He was SO welcoming and friendly! We had time finding food to eat (we were a group of women ages 48-70 walking the Camino) and were exhausted and could not wait for restaurants to open for dinner. So we went to the grocery store and purchased some items. He opened his breakfast area for us to eat and even provided us with glasses for drinks, utensils, etc.! We cleaned up the space impeccably when we left. It was a very nice thing for him to do.

The restaurant. O.M.G. I had probably one off the best steak filets I’ve ever eaten. It was not only perfectly cooked, but it was one of the OST tender pieces of meat I’ve ever eaten. The hotel is slightly off the Camino, but a good value for someone who is willing to walk a couple of blocks.

The bed was on the hard side. The elevator (at least it had one) stopped IN BETWEEN the floors, which meant either walking eight stairs up or eight stairs down with your luggage. This may not be ideal for people with mobility issues.

There was a fan in the room and it helped me sleep so well. It was a pleasure to find my delivered luggage already in the room. The staff helped locate my bag that was taken by someone else in error, and it was delivered to my next destination before I got there. Breakfast was convient and the check in person spoke much better English than I spoke Spanish. I would recommend this hotel in the city, just a few blocks from the Camino. The addition of small oj at breakfast was nice. Water closet included bidet and a large and small towel each.

I was very satisfied. I would only recommend a bottle of water upon entering as I was used to at previous hotels.

The hotel was on the Portuguese Camino route. Staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel was good value for money. My room faced an interior courtyard and was very quiet. My room was comfortablbe. The hotel was a short bus ride from downtown Santiago (and about a 6 km walk)

The breakfast was simple but since it was pouring rain I was happy to have the option to eat breakfast at the hotel.

Great value at this price. Near the Camino de Santiago path with only 6-7km left to allow and early arrival at the Cathedral. Good friendly staff and a very clean hotel, corridors and rooms. A fragranced room cleaner was very nice and lasted all evening. Good sized room and large bathroom with toiletries and towels. Close to cafes and restaurants. Which is great for evening meal but a little noisy.

A little noisy being close to 2-3 restaurants. But a minor complaint.

Of the 16 places I stayed while in Portugal and Spain, it was in the top 3 for cleanliness. It was comfortable and had all the amenities I needed except for a/c.it was conveniently located near cafes, shops, and restaurants. It was just a 4 or 5 K walk outside of Santiago, so would be a perfect place to stop before entering Santiago the next day. It was easy to catch a bus back from Santiago to the hotel.

No a/c, so had to leave the widow open to comfortably sleep. Alas, the cafes below closed at midnight, and the people stood outside making a lot of noise, waking me up. At 3:00 a.m. there were drunken revelers in the street who also woke me up. You could have it cool or quiet, but not both! Breakfast wasn’t served until 8:00 a.m. and I needed to eat sooner to catch a flight. It would have been nice to be able to at least get hot water to make my own tea in the morning. They wouldn’t have to open the food service for that.

A good stop before the last stretch to Santiago de Compostela. The service is excellent. I cannot recall his name but the gentleman at the desk carried my luggage up & down. He was so helpful. He prepared our breakfast next day too. The hotel could be rated as 3 star. But the service is 5star. Beds are good, toilets are clean.

The noise from the cafes below late at night but then again, it is quite common. Didnt bother me much.

Quiet hotel, one street back from the main thoroughfare. My bus from Padron stopped about 3 minute walk away from the hotel. Convenient supermarkets, chemists, coffee shops. Good size room, comfortable bed, and spotless...!!!

I liked everything. I arrived early, well before the normal check-in time. I was an injured Pilgrim to Santiago de Compostela so could not "walk the Camino" on that day. The manager/owner said I was welcome to stay at Reception Lounge while my room was expediently prepared. I was checked-in early due to my injury. Thank You.

Everything was very clean. There was even a parking garage with a remote control entry. The hotel had it’s own restaurant where you can buy a simple breakfast. There is excellent craftsmanship throughout the property. Our host was extremely helpful. He helped with u loading bags from our rental car and carried suitcases upstairs. He helped me to navigate the underground parking garage with its tight turns.

There was no elevator.

The hotel was a perfect location. Close to several eating places and interesting menus. It’s very near the path for El Camino so that was a bonus!

I can’t say anything negative about it. Maybe that I would have like to stay another day. I liked the city and its vibe.
