Clean, a fan was provided. Tight but adequate for price

The loudest cat colony vocalizing and mating and fighting all night right outside my window. No bedside lighting and only horrible overhead lights could be used. Kitchen was great with basics for cooking but some people don’t know how to clean up after themselves. Breakfast literally had nothing for me to eat except fruit and coffee - nothing gluten free but they have soy milk for dairy allergies. It would be nice to offer GF free and plant based yogurt along with soy.

Many rooms in this facility, and it won't be too difficult to get a bed (I went there in November, and I booked very last minute and one day, I did the same day booking too, however, that's during weekdays). The breakfast is very basic but good enough.

I stayed in the 5 beds room, but the extra single bed in the room was too close to the bunk bed. It was a bit difficult to get on the upper bunk as not much space to climb up. The sink didn't work in the room, and water is not running too smoothly either. Not the best location, as you have to climb uphill to get there. No drying racks if you want to handwash your clothes.

Loop Inn has a huge kitchen facility with two or more refrigerators, microwaves, sinks, tables, chairs, hot water kettle, toaster.....everything to create and consume a meal. It is on the 3rd floor with elevators and is bright with many windows. I was very happy to have this amenity. The staff is more than helpful and friendly. The lobby has a number of seating spots with wifi available and there are multiple storage rooms for luggage. It's very well done. I liked the location as it's within walking distance of the Old Town of Santiago as well as the open market.

I know this isn't anything that can be changed easily but there is a fairly long ramp to get into the hotel and, of course, to climb up when leaving. I had a very large bag (wheeled) which made that part of the process a bit edgy. But, I would stay again as I realize I'm in the minority. Most people are carrying a rucksack.

Albergue/hostal room for 4. Staff and general facilities were great, while room was a little grimy. Spotlessly clean sheets and blankets were cleaned & wrapped, much appreciated. Within walking distance to Camino interests. Newly remodeled & super clean, well appointed kitchen with city view. Breakfast was good with plenty of cold choices, including cold cuts, cheese, fruit & yogurt. This is my go-to Santiago stay 2-3 times/ year. Depending on the room (private or shared, location in the building, etc), hostal room mates, school groups, & cleanliness, it can be a 10 or a 5 experience. Beds are always comfortable with very clean linens. Some of the negative factors are due to the guests’ lack of consideration for others & not controlled by the Loop Inn.

This particular visit the room was cramped, lacking storage space, could not sit up on the lower bunk. Bathroom was clean but the sleeping area was dusty with hand prints & smears on the walls.

We asked the reception if they could call us a taxi for a particular time (we had a train to catch). The receptionist said that she’ll call us the taxi for the time we’d need. We went to the reception at the time we agreed on, but the taxi wasn’t contacted, therefore we needed to try to reach the company. They never answered, so we had 20 mins to run through the city to catch our train. The lady didn’t seem apologetic or anything, despite of clearly forgetting to call us the taxi. If she’d told us that she is not willing to do it, we’d just called the taxi ourselves in the first place.

Very helpful staff, perfectly clean & comfortable, shower/bathroom in a shared hostel room allowed for some privacy. There’s a beautifully remodeled kitchen to cook your meals. Self serve laundry available. Breakfast had plenty of options, including yogurt, ham & cheese, along with the usual items. 10 minute walk to the cathedral & Pilgrims Reception, 20 minute walk to the bus/train station. Bus for the airport is just around the corner, <1 block away. Perfect place after the Camino. I have returned 4 times & Loop Inn has not failed to provide excellent service & accommodations.

Everything was perfect.

This is more of a hotel than a hostel! The facilities in fact are better than a hotel with a kitchen available and washing facilities for clothes. It is positioned close to the main sights, parking (pre-booked) is very easy and our small dog was very welcome. The staff could not have been nicer and the breakfast was amazing, everywhere is very clean and tidy.

The building surfaces are hard, noise from other users is prevalent, perhaps a carpet in the corridors would help deaden the echoes? But by around 2200hrs most people were tucked up in bed and we had a quiet night's sleep.

A large hostel just outside the historic center. Small single room with bathroom. The breakfast at the accommodation was very varied and good. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Open shower in the bathroom, which is very impractical, water flows out all over the bathroom. My room was above the main entrance, where there was a bench and a smoking area, and over the night there were people who talked very loudly, so it was impossible to sleep peacefully in the room.

Handsome, interesting building, internally. Built buy? and franchised from? the La Salle college it sits in? Handy location just north of the old town. Great receptionistas and breakfast staff. Breakfast.

Can be noisy through the night., end of tour caminonistas? Shower floor overflows. No natural clothes air drying space.

Lovely area out of the rain to wait for check in; nice area adjacent to the kitchen for dining and views to the cathedral; room was clean and quiet; the little table and chairs in the room was appreciated; showers and toilets adequate; efficient and professional check in; good location only about 15 minutes from the cathedral; handy supermarkets nearby.

Kitchen a bit on the small side with no hot plates, but had fridge and two microwaves; with the fridge, there was no way to distinguish between "free" food and food owned by current people staying there. But otherwise, very good place to stay.
