We had a comfortable stay at Ecoroom Padron during our Camino de Santiago journey. The room and facilities were clean and well-appointed, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere. Ideally situated directly on the Camino route, the accommodation offers easy access to the trail. Additionally, a convenient supermarket is just nearby, making it easy to stock up on essentials. A welcome extra was the use of the communal washing machine. We recommend Ecoroom Padron to fellow pilgrims seeking a convenient place to rest.

It’s clean and simple. given lack of other options in town for private room, this place was great for the price. there’s common area to meet with other guests. In the morning the hostess puts out bagged breakfast and hot coffee. Shared bathroom is between two rooms so not bad.

As others have mentioned, it is slightly complicated to get into the building. Wish this can be spelled out in detail so I will do my best. Pretty much the hostess sends instructions via Whatsapp. I didn’t have wifi until i got there so i had no knowledge. key to the room and bathroom are plain and simple. what’s complicated is the front door- you need to call the hostess on cell phone which i didn’t have access since no service in Spain. anyhow many people go in and out of building so i got in with one lady :).

The living area was spacious, and it also had two convenient balconies.

No tea kettle. We were suggested to make tea in the microwave(!) The room was very basic, not much space to put our stuff, even for one night. Building front door could be opened only by calling a certain number, which is inconvenient if you don't have a Portuguese or any other EU SIM card

We were glad to see a kitchen which was open after all the other rooms in the Camino where we had to pay extra to use the kitchen. We had breakfast in a nice paper bag which was a very nice surprise, coffee machine, milk, toaster, etc. Location is great, easy to find and nice bar downstairs to go for dinner. Close to the Camino. Nice and easy access via codes/ keys in lockers. Very kind cleaning crew that again gave us food recommendations to eat out 😊

We could hear other people’s talking clearly (from other rooms and apartments). Bathroom was shared but there’s other rooms where the bathroom is private. Lift is small for 2 people with pilgrims backpacks.

Everything was great - a little kitchen, a bagged lunch was a nice surprise, comfy beds and bathroom was shared, but private. There was a washing machine, too, but didn't use. And coffee was all set up, ready to just turn on.

Was hard to check in...my fault, as I don't have WhatsApp. A couple of Spanish angels took pity on us and helped to communicate with host, and then it was easy.

Perfect spot close to centre of Padrón to spend night. We had a room with 4 beds. Breakfast pack was included and was perfect.. Super comfy beds.

The towels were spotless, but could possibly be a little bigger. The heating was great but came on a little late. We had terrible rain while walking and could have done with heating on a little earlier. Obviously the unexpected inclement weather cannot be predicted by host.

On the Camino Trail, free washer, clean bathroom, even though the rooms were all occupied, there is no line for the bathroom. Owner is helpful when asked restaurant recommendation, washer help etc. The owner leaves a breakfast bag for the guest to go consist for a bread, butter, marmalade, muffins and tea or chocolate - first time to receive a food /gift bag from a hostel , so thoughtful and I also got a Camino hand for souvenir! A short walk to the town center. Has a peaceful sleep on this hostel.

We stayed here for one night whilst walking the Camino. It was great for one night. I enjoyed that there was a lounge room and a place to sit when having dinner rather than being confined to your room. They also had a couple of balconies that you sit outside if you wanted.

Really lovely accommodation, perfect if you're doing the Camino as it's right on the route for the morning. Very handy for local amenities, good bars and cafes nearby to get a drink and food. The hosts are lovely and provide a breakfast for the morning which is a nice touch. We stayed here last year as well and I'd definitely stay here again.

They prepared a pack of foods for all guests, mainly pilgrims. It was a special touch and care for pilgrims who stay at the hostel one day. It is not necessary but the hospitality spirit. The shared toliet was clean and room for twin beds was good enough for one day rest.
