This hotel is superb. It's in the centre of the old town with all the main sites just a couple of minutes away, the whole establishment is immaculate and the breakfast is wholesome, plentiful and fresh. However, the factor that makes this hotel so special is the quality of its staff. Everyone was excellent in their role, very friendly, courteous and went out of their way to make our visit to Santiago one of the best holidays I have ever had - and I've been on many! I cannot praise this hotel highly enough and I hope to return. Thank you all.

We had a very pleasant stay at this beautifully restored historic building. The hotel has done a fantastic job preserving the charm of the original architecture while incorporating modern comfort and style. The rooms are impressively well designed, with a contemporary décor that makes excellent use of the available space. One of the highlights of our stay was the staff — incredibly welcoming, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. The entire property was spotless, and the attention to cleanliness was evident throughout all common areas and the room itself. The beds were comfortable overall, and the room was quiet and cozy, perfect for a relaxing stay.

However, there were a couple of downsides. The baby crib provided was in poor condition, with visible stains and signs of heavy use, which was quite disappointing. Additionally, the pillows on the bed were not very comfortable and could definitely use an upgrade. Overall, despite these minor issues, the experience was very positive and we would recommend the hotel, especially for those who appreciate staying in a place with historical character and modern amenities.

Our bathroom and shower was amazing but the seamless shower (that I loved!) was equipped with a ceiling to floor glass partition that did not close to the exterior of the shower stall and water was all over the floor. I have stayed in this property many times before. Some rooms have a bathroom encased in a glass cube separating the bathroom from the sleep area. This was not the case in this particular room. Regardless, I would stat at Casa Troya again. It’s a gorgeous historic property and the re-design is aesthetically beautiful and the rooms very well designed for gust accommodations. Thank you

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The atmosphere is so cozy and inviting, with every little detail thoughtfully designed for comfort. The room was clean, and beautifully decorated, making it a perfect retreat after a long day. What truly made this stay exceptional, however, was the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and always greeted us with warmth and kindness. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so memorable.

Spacious, quiet room in a beautiful historic hotel, just minutes from the cathedral. The staff were warm and helpful, and the bed was a welcome treat after the Camino. Great location with easy access to food options and shops. Everything was clean, though the bathroom could use better ventilation. No kitchen and no real Camino vibe, but a peaceful and restful stay. Didn’t try the breakfast. Would stay again if I wanted comfort over camaraderie.

Lovely room and a warm shower. Great wifi. Extra pillows. Superb location. Umbrellas to borrow during the rain. It was raining hard! Overall, very pleasing decor. Felt luxurious after many other places along the Camino.

Check-in for 4 rooms took too long with the passport process. Just take photo copies and let us in! Pain to get ice and snarky front desk woman. "We have cameras everywhere. Tell us what you need." One of the shower nozzles was broken and wouldn't stay higher on the bar.

Great location near cathedral and lots of bars and restaurants, small but clean comfortable room, bath and shower, toiletries and bottles of water provided, staff were friendly and helpful, great hot/cold breakfast the staff member at breakfast was lovely ensured we had plenty coffee ,freshly cooked hot food.

Our bathroom in the room had a large window with a blind looking into the room, we eventually located the switch to close the electric blind, was a bit odd! We also had a view of a wall from our window, this didn't bother us as we were out all day.

The breakfast was good for a reasonable price, the room was lovely with an incredible view. The staff were lovely and super helpful, would definitely stay here again. The room itself had great offerings in terms of comfortable bed, lots of windows and natural light, a lovely bathroom with a bathtub, a TV and good storage options. The bathroom offers great extras like a mini shaving kit, shower cap etc. The blinds on the glass partition wall from the bathroom to the bedroom was quite amusing but it was very well soundproofed.

Absolutely everything was great! The breakfast however could have had vegetarian/vegan hot food options instead of just meat and egg!

Comfortable modern room with some character, good breakfast with some hot as well as cold buffet, fantastic location so close to the cathedral, easy to find and taxis do drop off even in the heart of the city, friendly staff and safe reception.

Outlook from window was poor but wasnt there to look out of windows. No bar/ lounge / public spaces, but so much to do in the city.

A perfect central location and a wonderful, typical building. The breakfasts were good and beds comfortable. The bathroom was small with little practical space to store toiletries however we enjoyed a quiet and restful stay whilst exploring the city. The staff were really friendly, helpful and accommodating. Thank you, we will recommend your hotel to others!
