The location is second to none, right by the cathedral and at the heart of all the action. The room was also spotlessly clean and the beds and pillows are fantastically comfortable. Design of the hotel is modern and nice. It is also quiet even though it is at such a central location. Staff are helpful and try to make your stay a pleasant one.
A bit more thought of how the room might be used will be helpful. eg. It was a 2 person room but had only 1 towel hook, we had to relegated the hairdryer to the floor to use that hook as a towel hook. Also there isn't any storage space for your clothes and belongings, ours was in a pile at the corner of the room. A small church of drawers will be helpful. The lights are also pretty much 'all on' or 'all off', we couldn't control the bathroom lights independently of the main room lights. So it's either showering in the dark in the morning or blasting light in the whole room.

I stayed at this hotel recently and overall had a decent experience. The room was nice and clean, but I did find the pillows quite uncomfortable, which affected my sleep. Also, the room was noisy at night, not because of street traffic, but mainly due to other guests coming in late, which made it hard to rest. What truly made the difference during my stay were Julian and Sandra at the reception. They were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful—always ready to assist and resolve any issues quickly and professionally. Their excellent service was the highlight of my experience.
If the noise and pillow comfort were improved, I might stay again.

This was the most incredible hotel room on the Camino for us. The view itself was the piece de resistance. It made it worth every penny. The decor and atmosphere was super modern and contemporary, yet maintained an appreciation for the tradition and solemnity of Santiago de Compostela. It was like an oasis of modernity amidst the tradition of the Old World. For example, the room had strongly functioning AC and a soaking tub in the living space of the room; and at the same time, we could see the entire Plaza Obradoiro, and we could relive the pilgrim experience vicariously multiple times throughout our stay. The amenities, including the electric powered curtains and lights, were fun to use. The staff was super helpful on multiple levels. First, they kept our luggage, so we could explore the city, even before our check in time. Second, they helped us receive our baggage from the Donkey Service. Finally, they hailed a cab for us when we needed to get to the bus station. The location of the hotel - in the shadow of the Cathedral and close proximity to bars, restaurants, churches, and shopping was exceptional.

The location of this hotel is spectacular, what a view!! Also, if you like the sound of church bells then you are in luck!! The lady on reception was super lovely and held our bags for us and kindly texted us when the room was ready. The room itself was very clean and spacious, they have done a great job of renovating the property. I would say if you can I would request not having a room on the reception floor, it looked like it could lack privacy if you had the windows open.
The room was boiling!! They have a eco heating/ cooling system where the heat is on all the time in the winter. We had to have the windows open but it was quite noisy to do so. This is more a personal preference, but the bathroom was open to the bedroom and the toilet door was glass with a large gap down the side. Not the most private. Same situation with the shower.

So comfortable and perfect location to end our Camino experience . Right next to the main plaza, we only had a few more steps after the official end of our walk. Location great to explore Santiago de Compostela by foot, beds perfect, shower excellent, staff very helpful and friendly. And the restaurant next door excellent!
Air conditioning would not work to cool the room - they had changed to “winter mode” so only heating available even though outside temp was mild. This meant room got a bit stuffy and we had to have windows open. There was a bit of noise but not enough to keep us awake so we enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic location in the centre and right next to the Cathedral (as long as you're not bothered by church bells). The rooms were very clean, modern, and comfortable. The shower was wonderful too! Check in was very straight forward and we were able to drop off our bags prior to check in.
Although I can see why, we felt it was unnecessary to be physically guided to our room, especially when other people were waiting to check in. The breakfast was ok but nothing special and we weren't keen on the coffee.

What I believe to be an old building, now modernized and renovated with good design and amenities. Very close to the Plaza Obradoiro and very central which makes it a fabulous location to access everything within the historic center. I recommend this hotel.
My only comment is about the privacy on the room at ground level whose windows face directly to the breakfast area. However, this is an adaptation from an old building which is always a challenge to resolve from an architectural standpoint. Since we spend little time in the room - as there’s so much to see in this fabulous city - the privacy aspect is just a minor concern for a very brief time. After all, the great hotel location is everything.

The location was very good and the room was very quiet and clean. The shower was lovely. Having a fresh fruit breakfast was nice. They let us checkin a bit early because we were so tired when we arrived.
The beds were hard. We couldn’t get the room warm. Our windows opened up into the dining court so we couldn’t really use them. The picture online showing a skylight with plaza views must be the rarity. The facility seemed understaffed and their wasn’t

This was the most expensive hotel we stayed in - my husband is a quantity surveyor so spots every defect and even he was impressed! High quality finish all round. Great bedding, shower, key card system and location.
Nothing - it was seriously ace

Location is absolutely amazing - right by the cathedral. We were upgraded to the suite, which is fantastic. The window looked out at the cathedral. Electrically operated curtains let you see ( or not see) the view! Free standing bath, amazingly powerful shower, huge fluffy towels, large comfy bed with wonderful pillows. Fancy coffee machine, fridge and water. The 2 receptionists were so excited to upgrade us AND show us the suite. They genuinely seemed happy to be working there. Breakfast was well worth the cost. Good selection of coffee, tea and juices. Typically Spanish with hams, cheese, bread, cake and fruits. It was an absolute dream of a stay! Thanks to the staff for making it even better 😊
Nothing at all!
