The guesthouse was near Dongdaemun station exit #10 which was convenient, the host also met us along main road and assisted us we really appreciated this especially we arrived at around 1 AM. We stayed at the rooftop room (4th floor) which had its own exclusive outdoor area with a cute tent, my sisters and I enjoyed staying here at night even though it was very cold. Its a good place to stay if you are going to different areas of Seoul. There are not much restaurants at night its pretty quiet in the neighborhood, we had several late night snacks at the pizza place near which was quite good as well. Although if you walk to the other side of Dongdaemun there are several stores there which is maybe around a 5-10 minute walk. The place had towels, toiletries, free coffee etc. Our room had a private dining and kitchen area + laundry which was also convenient. There were days when it rained and they had umbrellas which we can use too. Overall we loved this place, and would definitely come back!

It’s very close to Dongdaemun train station exit 10, just about 3-5min walk. To get there, there is a small alley so you have to look closely but it’s very easy to find. If you take the airport limousine, there is a stop across the street (JW Marriott) exit 9 and it’s pretty close to the guesthouse as well. If you have luggages with you and you took the train, please get out at exit 9 since there is elevator there and just cross the street to get to the guesthouse (you can use Naver Map app as it’s pretty precise). Soundproof room (I didn’t hear). clean bathroom with body wash, shampoo, conditioner. Always available towels, toilet papers in each floor and there’s free coffee (great especially for a really cold day). Thankfully there is also an extension cord that has universal outlet and USB as I forgot my adaptor, which was really helpful since I did not have to buy one in my entire stay. Staff are very nice, helpful and accommodating. have helped me with my luggage. Also allowed me to keep them there even when I checked out as my bus ride was still at around 6pm. The cats are beautiful too. 💙

The room was spacious with private bathroom and shower. The quality of products for hair&body was amazing. I saw differences in my hair in comparison to other places I stayed in. The people there are super welcoming and helpful. The bed and sheets and pillows were of GREAT quality.I love their place so much. I will definetely come back!!! The subway and bus station is super close, 2 min walk. Even the airport bus station is very close. The terrace outside is perfect for smokers and the kitchen facilities are amazing.

I wish they had a dryer because for many days to stay you need to quickly wash and dry your clothes. However there s a 24h wash and dry store a few min walk away so everyone should be fine with it. I d still come back 100%

Home away from Home... it was! A tiny room yet so functional, warm and clean to perfection! I even had an XL luggage but I made it fit just great. The bed was so comfy (hard mattress 😃) that I slept so well every night. The staff was really friendly. Bonus: the view from my window of the (almost) full moon over the Heunginjimoun Gate. I would definitely stay there again!

It truly felt like home away from home. Safe, impeccably clean, amazing amenities and such a forthcoming host! I will defenitley return :) The location is amazing, right at Dongdaemun metro and so many buses, incl tge night busses and airport bus. Convenience store right around the corner. And it has windows! Not a given when booking a room in Seoul. Its set in a calm back alley, for breakfest I would righly recommen Cafe Est 50 m around the corner!

I loved everything. You need to get used to the shower as a European, as it floods the whole bathroom. That’s a typical shower set up in korea. But they even provide slippers.

I love the cleanliness! No outside shoes allowed in the property. The room and bathroom was super clean. The AC worked perfectly. The owners were also super sweet during our interactions. The cats indoors were the cherry on top. Location wise, it’s just outside the train exit. It has a lot of stairs so if you need a lift/escalator it’s across the road. Still very convenient. Overall will highly recommend. I hope to come back and stay here in the future!

The washing machine is available only between 2-10pm. It was a bit difficult since that’s prime time to be out and about. I ended up doing more handwashing of my clothes in the bathroom. An upside is that there’s a lot of space to hang your clothes. If you’re not planning on doing laundry, it’s not a minus point at all.

The staff are excellent. They are friendly and gave good advice about facilities and the local area. The location is perfect for the Dongdaemun metro station: take Exit 10 (stairs/ no elevator) then head straight and turn right on a small alley—it’s then on the right. Less than a five minute walk. Nearby, I like the Naksam park—you walk following an old fortification wall up the hill. There’s a fantastic view. Inside the guesthouse, the kitchen is useful. Delicious coffee from the coffee machine. (Staff kindly showed me how to use the coffee machine.)

For the price, this place is great. My only complaint would be with Booking.com (not HAH Guesthouse). Booking.com promised to pay 13% but did not honour this promise. When I tried asking Booking.com about this, I just kept getting passed from bot to bot…

Very good location, near to subway Dongdaemun station exit 10(but no lift to reach) and differents attractions kwangjang market and Cheonggyecheon. WONDERFUL STAFF, very helpful, always ready to help for carrying luggages (no lift )even for early departures. Little room, but very well organized for everything you need.  Very clean inside and outside. Toilet paper and clean serviettes always ready on the corridor. Useful kitchen for guest at the floor, fresh water dispenser, fridge free for guest at the floor. If it was possible I would give 12 ! Thankfully for everything it was really a very good staying. I suggest to every traveller.

I travelled with my friend, and we liked the location (right next to the metro station, rather close to the main attractions by metro, there are also cafes and restaurants), the room was clean, there was shampoo, shower gel and conditioner, as well as hand soap, there were maps and guides, that you could take to explore the city. It was also nice that you had to take off your shoes and leave them on the ground floor, changing into slippers to go into the room. There were clean towels, refrigerators and water coolers available any time. There was also a kitchen with all the equipment downstairs. And it was very quiet despite the fact, that there is a busy road right next to it.

There were only a couple of things that I can mention here - there is steep stairs, so you should ask for help to get your luggage up and down (the help was provided, and we thank hosts for that!). Besides, the mattresses were rather hard and it took time to find our way with them.

Really great location in Dongdaemun, super close to the metro station and a good center point to get to popular areas like Anguk, Seongsu, Myeongdong, etc. Being able to do laundry was really nice (though do note that there's no dryer). The house cats are absolutely adorable.

Walls are definitely not soundproof, but luckily all neighboring guests were very respectful with their volume. At times the TV wouldn't work (server connection issues), but it wasn't too big of a deal.
