The property was away from all the downtown Rosarito chaos. Ample parking and parking ticket was validated. It’s inside shopping center with multiple restaurants and shops. Site was secure and had a guard on site. Check in and out was easy. Friendly staff. Very clean front lobby, common area, and rooms. Continental breakfast is offered.

I wish all City Express hotels by Marriott were consistent with the included breakfast as the one at Rosarito. No need to ask which portions are "extra", which are "included"---its all included. The hotel itself is quaint in its location to the walking mall next door, very accessible from the tollway across Rosarito. Staff are keen to please the customers!!

Do wish they improved the water filtration systems for the showers. That's about my only semi-gripe of the facility.

breakfast could have more variety and it ran out or stuff a lot. and no donuts or muffins or bagels etc. pancakes would be nice. egges scrambled could be better. plain scrambled better then what we got. not bad but plain scrambled egges could be better. shades on windows should be reversed. the shades hav to be closed all teh way down for the street not to see us in our room. should be the other way around. open from top to bottom. so people on the street in the parking lot can see in the room.

The two mornings I went for breakfast, I arrived 15 mins prior to ending breakfast time and most of the breakfast options were all gone. No intentions to refill them. So instead of saying breakfast available until 11, they should say 10:30 or a “head-up” that once it’s all gone, not committed to refill if it’s after 10:30 or something like this. Very limited both mornings. It would be nice to have all the option up until the time breakfast is actually over.

I liked everything except for the AC not working properly. I also like the area. There was nightlife for adults and a lot of restaurants for dining and shopping.

Parking was limited, The only one had one set of towels for four people. The AC not working properly

A little far from the beach/historical and nightlife district Certainly not walkable to it, but easily drivable like 5-10 minutes. However, it’s in a shopping mall with many restaurants and bars and shops around

Location, cleanliness, service of the staff, shower, blackout curtains, soundproof rooms.

WiFi was very slow, power outlets didn’t work properly. Beds and pillows need an upgrade.

The hotel is in a great spot within an outdoor shopping mall. So many food choices, walking distance from hotel. Including a wallmart. Paid secure parking, hotel validates. . The hotel is very clean. The staff was very nice. The rooms were nice. Favorite part is that the pool is open 24 hours and is heated. Will definitely return with my family.Breakfast was good. Close to the beach.

Very unhappy with the breakfast. It was late, the staff remained in their street cloths and used no gloves when handling the food. Staff should have had kitchen uniforms to wear, not their outdoor jackets. We refused breakfast because of the unhygienic handling of the food
