The staff and overall atmosphere of Nimmitabel was excellent - the value for money far exceeded our expectations and we had an excellent stay. The room was also extremely warm even for a -5*C night.

For future, it would be helpful to have the check-in location listed on the Booking.com platform (it's the pub - not the motel).

I stayed at Nimmitabel motel for 2 nights while attending an event locally. It's nothing facy but it has everything you need for a basic no frills 2 night stay in a small regional town. Comfortable bed, hot shower, small fridge in the room, tea and coffee facilities, free WiFi.

The check in is at the pub down the road. Check in experience was good and the man working behind the bar was friendly, but it just involved a bit of back and forth. I also had to call a couple of times to get the WiFi password, but that's not a big deal.

Our family of 5 stayed in a family room. The affordable room was small but very clean, warm and cosy on a cold night. Beds were comfortable and we had a beautiful sleep in a quiet location. The host is super friendly and makes you feel really welcome. We would definitely stay again if passing through that way.

Room was smaller than expected, it wasn't a problem but if you had a lot of luggage it would be a bit squashy. The small room size meant that it was very warm and cosy.

Staff were amenable, easy to talk to, good for recommendations. Meals at the associated pub were bold and hearty, good for a winter feed to warm up without being oversized.

The owner is also the owner of the local pub, good bloke and good chat. The room was clean enough and heater warmed up the room pretty well considering how cold it was outside. Great location for a half (ish) way mark to Sydney. Room was comfy enough and good enough for a short stay.

The bed we had was pretty uncomfortable, but the one in my brother in law's the other room was fine/better. I think the beds would be good enough if they put a pillow top on top of the existing - no other complaints

The staff couldnt do more for us, so friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and service was impeccable.

The family room was too small for us, but they did everything possible and we paid for a cabin out the back. The management couldn't do enough to make our stay great, would stop and chat when they could. Will definitely stay again.

The friendly staff Love the feeling of being at home and you guys topped it off. ❤️ The staff are so friendly The animals even more lol and with the great food and company from local pub and you got one fantastic weekend of fun laughs and a few songs to boot. Nothing but local ❤️
