Everything is good. The breakfast is awesome. The view from my room is very good. We can see the balloons. The morning market is right outside of the guesthouse. The windows are sound-proof. Not sure if it’s peak season now. If need to take train to Luang Prabang, better to buy earlier. I could not buy the tickets of regular seats 2 days before my leaving for Luang Prabang and needed to buy business class in the afternoon instead of morning train that I originally planned.

The kindness of staff that made all the experience. Staff here were friendly and helpful, fun to chat with. They truly were knowledgeable and took time to answer questions thoroughly. I appreciated them very much. Our room was clean and tidy, a bit small with comfy bed. The location is perfect.

I am a solo traveler and I really my own privacy, this guesthouse met my correct demand. It is a quiet place for me, and I liked it. Room has a large window so I could open to see the mountain view from my bed, watching my lovely films on TV and enjoyed it. Very tidy and clean even the room is not so spacious, but I felt comfortable there. Motorbike and laundry service were provided at the lobby with a reasonable price. Ask them if you need a good bike. Basically, served breakfast with local fruits and optional eggs or butter, jam. Drink was offered with some kinds of tea, coffee or juices. Staff were so friendly. Recommend for sure.

Super clean guesthouse and staff were hard-working to keep the place tidy and clean the whole day. When we checked in, there were some guests arrived together at the same time, the manager who was so kind and polite, he did everything in a perfect way, communicated people friendly and we had a great time with other guests. Thank you, Alex, for your kindness and your hospitality! The room was simple with basic facilities for stay but beautiful view to see the mountains. The place served breakfast free of charge and provided train tickets to Louangphrabang and tuktuk to train station, they charged us reasonably, cheaper than we went to buy by ourselves. We liked our stay there. Strongly recommended. Come and enjoy your stay and get such a great experience if you are looking for an overnight stay in Vang Vieng

Nothing for sure

We got free upgraded room free of charge, we did not ask for a better room because of our budget. but the host offered a nice room on top floor. He was so kind and friendly from beginning, made our holiday great after that. The room was spacious and super clean, nothing special here, not fancy, just basic but great value for our stay. Breakfast was very tasty and fresh with vegetarian foods. Hard working staff.

Should have more tables in breakfast area and your guests do not have to wait for empty seats. You did very well but you could do better, Alex

The location is excellent- within 5 minutes of the night market, riverbank and the city center. The view of mountain is stunning from window. Alex and his team were excellent and very cooperative. The room was small, but tidy and clean with basic amenities.

No where better than Dokphut guesthouse in Vang Vieng, even in the whole Laos where I was travelling. A small guesthouse run by a very kind host who will be there to assist you with heart, make sure you have a great stay there and have a good trip in vang Vieng. The guesthouse looked busy but managed well in order. Welcome drink and friendly talks were provided when I was waiting for checking in. I had a good room in the corner of the building, and it was so quiet. Some daily tours were offered with budget price but great quality. Centrally located and beautifully viewed with mountain.

There was a small fridge that kept our drinks very cold and A/C worked well. Cleaning staff were great and receptionist was happy to help us to reserve some activities in Vang Vieng, even last minute hot air balloon just a hour before riding. Great location, everything was within a 5 minute walk or less. I kept extending until I could have to leave Vang Vieng for my next destination. The room was very clean and comfy with good view. Would 100% stay there again!!

The man who manages the hotel is very gentle & helpful. He is always there so it is very secure, even when you need any help. Breakfast is tasty with lots of fruit, fresh juice & a choice of eggs or noodle soup. The location is close to restaurants & bars but away from the party hostel in Vang Vieng, so nice & quiet. It’s a basic room with lots of storage, nice & clean with both A/C & fan. Tour and other services are offered with great quality, very well organized.

This place is the best GH I have ever been so far in the whole of Laos. DokPhut Guesthouse is centrally located and the staff are super kind, friendly, helpful. My room has a large window to see the nice mountain view, even to see the Hot air balloon. The guesthouse is a bit old but very clean and tidy. Room equipped with all basic amenities for my solo budget. I got a good sleep there because it was so quiet at night. There is a small local market in the morning, I could walk and had a look or shop some local fruits. Breakfast is included and also tasty. Highly recommend.
