Probably one of the best B&Bs we have stayed in. It was the convenient midway point on our way home to the UK from Italy. We arrived late afternoon to be welcomed by Pierre who showed us the room and explained some nuances to ensure a trouble free stay. We were offered refreshments in the large garden and met some fellow guests (lovely Swiss couple). We had dinner in the village, Pierre had kindly made a reservation at a local restaurant which was a short walk away. The property has undergone a beautiful and sympathetic restoration retaining oak beam details and high ceilings. It was clean and modern with a suburb attention to detail (the host happened to be a graphic artist, we'd guessed maybe an architect so close) Lovely breakfast with plenty of home made breads, jams and yogurts.

Nothing, it was perfect.

Pierre was a very welcoming host and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful with many of the options either locally produced or home-made. Parking was secure in the front courtyard and on request Pierre made reservations for us at an excellent local restaurant a short walk away. The room was spotlessly clean , the layout well thought out and extremely comfortable. Lovely garden at the back of the property. We hope to be back!

Nothing, every thing surpassed expectations.

Very kind welcome from the owner. Chic room with comfortable beds in refurbished old manor. Very good breakfast. Parking place in closed yard is a plus. Nice back yard with orchard.

The typical 190cm French beds with metal railings might be troublesome for tall people. Doorless bathroom (shower&sink) is not for everybody.

Breakfast was very good with home-made jams and honey (fruit and honey supplied from the garden) plus home-made cake. Garden large - beautiful for strolling and resting in early and evening sunshine. Great views from back of house over vineyards extending up the slopes.

The (joint) owner, Pierre, could not have been more friendly, helpful or informative. The quality of the restoration he has overseen in the past 9 years is truly exceptional. Each bedroom is stunning (I peeked in a couple of others) and the continental breakfast was the product of his own - and his wife's (apologies, I cannot recall her name) - labours. To summarise: perfection!

Nowt!

Pierre was an amazing host. He went out of his way to be considerate & helpful, including hosting us with a glass of wine on arrival. Beautiful breakfast with so much home preserved & local produce.

Nothing, except perhaps no tea making facilities in room

This restored farmhouse is in a lovely village setting with vineyards all around. The bedroom was in the attic space with a very high oak timber ceiling. The court yard whilst a little tricky to drive into made a very secure off street parking overnight. The village has a lovely little bar/bistro where we had our evening meal.

Nothing, this was a perfect stay

The host was friendly and made sure that the was atmosphere superb. The beautiful old house, was restored with respect for the house but with all the comfort and modern amenities you could wish for. The big fruit garden, from which all the breakfast produce came from, and sunflower fields have a beautiful backdrop and ensured the peaceful surroundings.

This is a great little hotel, set in a fabulous location, they did the best breakfast of homemade jams and yogurt, fresh fruit and most importantly good coffee. Pierre couldn’t be more helpful and the rooms were very clean and well fitted out. We would definitely come back, infact my wife has set the standard for breakfast on this experience. It was very good and a wonderful surprise on our way to Croatia from London. Thank you Pierre..
