Amazing location right in the heart of Volterra. Room comfortable & individual with view over street. Bathroom a little small but fine! Lovely terrace with views - weather was a bit stormy when there so only serving drinks. Really helpful reception staff, great welcome, advice on what to see & really helpful walking routes around the town. Also good instructions on where to park (which are needed!) Breakfast buffet amazing!

There’s no lift, but staff will carry your cases up & down. Had to drop cases then park car (be warned free car park has lots of steps back up!) but worked fine. Did get a sense staff in cafe weren’t expecting any clients due to windy forecast when we arrived so had a very quick tea & left!

Daniel and his family and staff were very attentive to all of my needs. They always greeted me by name and went out of their way to help. My room was comfortable with a good A/C system. Excellent breakfast layout with various breads and rolls, meats and cheeses, fruit salads, sweets, juices and waters and espresso bar. The hotel is right in the middle of town and has a garden restaurant off the 2nd floor.

The only complaint would be the stair climb to the room, especially after a long day of climbing hills exploring Volterra.

Excellent location in the heart of old town. Very old family-owned historic well-maintained building. Convenient underground parking garage, about 10-minute walk away (€15/day). Very friendly host. Comfortable queen-size bed. WIFI, A/C, TV, refrigerator, desk and luggage rack. Nice outside patio with bar at the top level.

No elevator, but the host carried our bag upstairs for us, we were at the highest level, 3rd floor. The hotel interior could use updating. Typical of most European hotels, they don’t provide wash clothes, we always bring our own.

Excellent location, easy access, car parking just around the corner, restaurants, bakery and small convenience stores next to it was really good to find everything nearby. The staff was awesome in permanent communication with us helping in bypassing the traffic restrictions on the village. They had special attention to my lady needs with regards gluten restriction for breakfast. Hotel is not new but shows care and cleanliness. Definitely a great place to stay.

Being in the city center have the inconvenience of the noise, and the only remark is to the local people talking loudly in the street. But is our opinion probably for others is not an issue 😉

Very friendly and cosy atmosphere, thanks to the couple managing the hotel.They gave us very useful tips on what to do in Volterra and in the wider region. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the center of the old town and only a few steps away from the nicest restaurants and gelaterias. Furthermore the hotel is situated very close to the safe underground parking garage and the bus stop. Last but not least: the breakfast buffet is excellent!

The owners/staff are super friendly and nice! It doesn't feel like this is their every day job, it actually feels like they really enjoy it! The breakfast is really big with lots of different options. They have a nice rooftop cafe. It was super clean! Location is great as it's right in the middle of the old town, maybe 2mins on foot from the bus station

It's not really my style (decoration-wise) but since it was so clean I didn't really mind.

Great hotel in keeping with the feel of Volterra. Exceptional hosts who were welcoming and friendly. Has everything you need. Great location. Restaurant, cafes bars and shops right outside front door. Has breakfast varied options. Has rooftop garden. This was a great stay. Would recommend this cute hotel. It has stairs with no lift. Has free and paid parking nearby. The paid parking is well worth it with an easy walk to the hotel.

Check-in was easy, and the hotel was beautiful. It's really well located in the heart of Volterra. The service was amazing from the warm greeting we received at check-in to the pleasant and delicious breakfast buffet. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, the perfect place to relax after a full day of walking and exploring.

Great location of the hotel, not far from the motorcycle parking. Very friendly staff who presented all the sightseeing options in the city and gave recommendations for lunch and dinner. The room was fantastic and comfortable. Excellent breakfast in a pleasant atmosphere. We highly recommend it and will definitely return.

The hotel also has a small rooftop bar, which is very charming and nice. It's a pity that it isn't open for longer hours.

The owner / manager was extremely helpful and pleasant. He was very busy too, but juggled things well. The town is a jewel and we had a great time there at an uncrowded time of year. The location could not be better. The rooms are relatively simple and modest, but clean and well lit. We would stay there again. The town is an absolute jewel and it was super to be there in March when there were very few other tourists besides ourselves. Weather was brisk so take sweaters and a jacket, plus umbrella!

No complaints and our stay exceeded our expectations.
