Our stay at Lykia Old Town has been nothing less than phenomenal. Although the hotel is small, the hospitality is great and, above all, personal. The breakfast in the little garden is harty and an ideal way to start the day. The coffee/tea facilities on each floor are a very welcome addition, too. All in all, the building and its people will stimulate you to unwind. This is special because the location of the hotel, in one of the nicest streets of old town, is also just a few meters away from the hustle and bustle of Antalya. The rooms are compact but comfortable and made to high standards. The furniture is well crafted, and it matches the rest of the building. The wooden floors and window shutters add to its history and charm. Every morning, the crew inquired if you would be in need of housekeeping that day. A good approach for ecological and efficiency reasons. The cleaning crew leaves everything spotless. Even in places that would normally be 'easily fogotten'. Personally, I really enjoyed closing the day, away from the crowd, with a nice cocktail, wine, or raki in the garden. Definitely in my top 1 for when I visit Antalya again. If not for the hotel itself, then for its lovely staff.

the old style architecture is beautiful, everything is very accessible. the pool is lovely in the early september heat, we went in almost everyday to cool off after activities. the location is amazing, just off a street with many lovely restaurants and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. the breakfast was delicious, it was unfortunate we couldn’t have it every day but some of our activities were very early in the morning :( the staff were so hospitable and welcoming, everyone was very attentive to our needs and they made the stay just wonderful. i would recommend this hotel to anyone from an individual to couples to families. although staying there as a couple was lovely as the spot is very romantic. if i came back to antalya this would be first on my list of places to stay.

nothing.

(IRISH) Really lovely hotel. Airport to hotel: We went with the cheapest option. The “tramvay”- you get an elevator to left of airport arrivals. Take the one to your right and get off at “ismetpasa” and from there the hotel is an 11 minute walk. No more than 5€. As our flight home was early morning we went with taxi on way back to airport(I would recommend to book with hotel). Pay 500-600L and no more for two persons. The taxi people will still chance adding regardless. Staff: lovely, friendly staff. Always wanting to help. Room: stayed in room 5. One flight of stairs to room but staff bring luggage to room so really isn’t an issue. The rooms are spacious enough for two persons. They also give soap as gesture on checkout. Hotel: It gives a true reflection of an old city. The garden area is beautiful. It is small with a bar and swimming pool. Breakfast is served here (it is delicious-egg dishes made fresh on request , breads!). Tea/coffee offered and croissant (free). Location: PERFECT! To your left of the hotel there is a strip with bar/restaurant. Nice to people watch lovely and a nice area. As you walk around you will come across the busy areas and eventually the Hadrian’s Gate. To the right it is a downhill walk to the beach, no more than 5-6mins. We took steps down but to avoid these coming back we walked towards the “pudding hotel” and it was a slight incline to the hotel from there- lot less strenuous than taking steps. The old city is on an incline no matter where you stay. Overall, you get a real family run feeling. The receptionist is welcoming and easy going. The morning staff are funny and want you to try foods the prepare.

Nothing. There will always be something that won’t be to someone’s taste. I think as someone looking to pay a reasonable price and get a location like this, I would recommend this for you. There is some noise when people come into hotel at night- nothing major that would put you off.

The hotel was extremely small and although the rooms were tiny, they were extremely clean and there was great attention to detail. A little lavender pouch was included on the bed for fragrance, and the mini bar was fully stocked. The breakfast was incredible with a wide selection of options and the fresh eggs to order were a wonderful surprise. I looked forward to breakfast each day! The staff were very kind and accommodating and helped us book a taxi when we left. The backyard area was very small but quaint to lounge in!

The rooms on the ground floor faced into the reception area, which meant that when staff or guests were in the hallway talking, we could hear every word loudly. There was no outside noise from the street, but it would be helpful if there were quiet hours in place for those in the lobby area after a certain time at night!

It was absolutely beautiful. Great location, clean and the pool was great. The staff were all so friendly and would do anything to help, complimentary coffee and fig cake whenever we wanted. Breakfast was fantastic, even when there were only a handful of guests there was a vast selection of delicious choices. Fireplace in the room was a nice touch.

The bar drinks were quite expensive so we didn’t choose to drink much by the pool. The room was quite small and the bathroom flooded with the shower had no ventilation. Would choose the largest room if staying more than 3 days.

Hotel Lykia is located in lovely Old Town and right beside loads of restaurants and bars, but was on a street where it was not noisy at all. It is one of the nicest places we have stayed in. The building is very well designed with a lovely outdoor area at the back, where you have breakfast, which had lots of choices and service is absolutely excellent. If back in Antalya we would definitely stay at Hotel Lykia again, without any hesitation.

Nothing not to like!

The staff was excellent. very helpful and friendly. The room was small but very quaint and had everything you need. Bathroom was large - lots of toiletries and no problems with hot water or pressure. Delicious breakfast served on the patio in a delightful setting. Great location close to restaurants. Small local beach nearby. We arrived before check-in time and Mustafa gave us fig cake and coffee which was very appreciated. Little gestures like lavender sachet on the bed and soap gift on checkout were lovely. We did not have any issues with noise at night.

Nothing - it was great!

The care and attention of the staff to all of our needs. All of the great design touches and the most lovely terrace setting by the pool. It’s location in the old town is great for restaurants and walking with overlooks the harbor in spite of its location. It was very quiet for sleeping. We highly recommend this place for a romantic stay in Antalya.

It is in the old town so you need to arrange to park your car in an underground municipal lot about a 12 minute walk to the hotel. Later we found out that taxis are allowed in the old town, so we arranged for a taxi ride to where we parked our car. At first when we got the room there were only hard large pillows. We found out the next day that there were two soft pillows in the cupboard so we became happy campers.

Very nice place to stay in the old town - close to everything but at the same time located in a quiet street. Authentic ottoman house. Very easy to walk to the Mermeli beach and old town - 10 mins walk to clock tower where you can take the tram to Konyalti. Very good customer service thanks to Mustapha, Emre - you were so kind and helpful throughout the stay always polite and dedicated, thanks to Han for arranging everything and juggling with breakfast + reception. Very good breakfast with local food. The hotel/rooms are small (apart from the rooptop apartment which is a gem with all facilities like washing machine, kitchen etc) but the atmosphere and staff makes it a special place. Very nice to also provide for fruits, cakes, tea and coffee just outside the rooms at all times. If you can reserve the rooftop apartment, then this is the best you can get.

Nothing but small things that could be improve: 1) Because it is an old ottoman house built with wood, the rooms especially on ground floor and 1st floor are not sound proof so you can hear from other rooms but also if you are downstairs, you can hear walking from upstairs. If you could try isolating a bit more; 2) The room that we took on the ground floor was next to reception so because it is not soundproof at all, you could hear every noise specially in the morning from reception, this was quite disturbing; 3) We came in winter, so as there is no heater in the bathroom and the bathroom has a window located on the side of the swimming pool, it was quite cold inside the bathroom. I think a heating system should be installed in all bathrooms that have windows.

The location was perfect for visiting the Old Town and Harbour of Antalya, being far enough away from the bars and restaurants that the noise was not a problem, but close enough to walk to the port area and the new part of the city for even more coffee bars and the beautiful seafood restaurants. The staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive.

The room did feel small, but this is an old property, and as it was just a base for exploring, it didn’t spoil our time there.
